I use this capability when basement drops to 35 degrees then heats to 40 and stops. Keeps pipes from freezing when house is not in use. You can trigger off a remote temp sensor also. Check thermostat temp range spec, not heating spec.
Question:	Is the font really large? i can't read below "10 pt"; prgramming is impossible on current model
Answer:	Did you leave it time to stabilize? Mine seems to be fairly accurate compared to a reference thermometer.

Answer:	When my thermostat went blank it was because my unit’s drain pan was filled with water so the system was tripping off. The thermostat would come back on when the pan drained enough but it kept happening, my AC wasn’t ‘keeping up’. You may need to have the AC serviced.
