User questions & answers
Question: | What is the part number for the thermostat |
Answer: | Yes You simply remove the T2 from the model # and order it as HF4320RPW |
Question: | does this heater come with a built in rheostat or thermostat |
Answer: | I don't know. However, I had it running for an hour in the garage during one of the coldest periods Winter 2014. The cord didn't melt. There's an extensive description of the heater on a Facebook page. It describes the cord as a Triple Tap. Don't know if that helps. The lengthy description is here: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=792774377399839&id=792481984095745. |
Question: | what size room will thi 2 foot heat |
Answer: | It's probably a case of who provides the shipping, handling and convenience. |
Question: | The picture has a built in thermostat but mine didn't come with it.. What's with that? I'm assuming you'll send me one free now since it's pictured |
Answer: | Should work good for that. It had two settings for heat but the fan only runs a constant speed. The two heat settings are 1200 watts and 1500 watts. The 1200 watt setting is a bit more than a 900 watt hand held hair dryer. Where you place the heater while working out will help too. About 12 to 15 feet I’d say. Hard to determine the distance without knowing how cold the garage is to begin with. I use it in my front room that’s 60° and I set the heater 10 feet away on low setting to watch TV and it’s perfect. Hope this helps. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Hi, i already order this one "cadet 8734 white double pole " , would any one who knows confirms it is a 120v |
Answer: | Yes, I am using it on 120v |
Question: | Does the tstat fit in a regular single recepticle box |
Answer: | I removed it from its mounting so I never tried to install into a box. So I am unsure but I think it would or could fit. |
Question: | If I attach this to the baseboard heater ,does the closeness to the heater affect the functioning of the thermostat |
Answer: | Great question and I really don't know the answer. We have several baseboard heaters with attached thermostats. Heat rises and the control is on the side so my guess is there would not be any issues. |
Question: | I need replacement nobs for Fahrenheat baseboard heater |
Answer: | Contact Cadet company. |

User questions & answers
Question: | How accurate is it? I would be using it for a convection electric heater |
Answer: | Yes, the temporary bypass enables temperature override without changing programming. |
Question: | What is the size? 9 X 7 X 4 appears to be very large |
Answer: | Probably not. This is for a resistive load and the pump motor is an inductive load. I would check with Honeywell to be sure. |
Question: | How is this supposed to mount? It's described as if it is a replacement for a thermostat. That's not my situation |
Answer: | 2 main differences that I see:#1 the wattage is different. for the th106, you have 2000/4000 Watts for (120/240 volts) and the th104 only has 1750/3500 watts. it's not a big deal unless you have requirements on how many or how big of heaters you are controlling. For me, I have 1 medium and 2 small baseboards which totals to 2000 watts on 120 volts.#2 the programming is different. on the th106 you can specify temps for each day of the week-differently, whereas the 104's programming allows for weekend/weekday modes. |
Question: | Is this a double pole thermostat |
Answer: | This unit is wired directly to your 220v 2-wire circuit for the thermostat. This is a line voltage thermostat. |

About Honeywell
Honeywell's roots reach to 1885, when an inventor named Albert Butz patented the furnace regulator and alarm. He formed the Butz Thermo-Electric Regulator Co., Minneapolis, in April, 1886, and soon invented a device he called the "damper flapper” – an ingenious predecessor to the modern thermostat.

User questions & answers
Question: | does the cadet 30-inch baseboard heater come with a thermostat or do I have to buy it separately |
Answer: | The open space between shelves is 12” |
Question: | Can this be painted |
Answer: | The spaces between the shelves are exactly 12 inches in height. |
Question: | How many amps does each of these 30” units draw? Can I put two on a single 15amp circuit |
Answer: | I used the light on my 12 mile daily commute to and from work. Part of that commute takes me over some rough terrain. I've had my Cygolite for two weeks mounted to the front forks. Lights had stayed in place. As a matter of fact, yesterday I broke a screw which holds my rear rack to frame after running over some a man hole cover which had been dislodged out of place. |
Question: | how many watts on the 30 inch |
Answer: | Best is to compare the lumen amount of two light sources. 500 lumen of Metro 500 is already pretty bright. Although I have not tried it, I believe using 1200 lumen light in city streets can be disruptive to the upcoming traffic (including pedestrians and other bikers). Perhaps 1200 lm is good for racing or other isolated night biking applications. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this have a fan |
Answer: | This transformer only has two output contacts. You should examine the wiring for your current transformer and move them as they are currently wired. If you need a more 'educated' answer, you should contact Ring tech support. - That's certainly what I would do... |
Question: | Why does my heater keep turning off |
Answer: | The transformer is designed to thread into a knockout hole in the electrical box providing the AC power. In all modern (metal) electrical boxes, the incoming power wires will have a ground lead which is screwed onto the box. In the case of plastic (ugh!) boxes, it may be necessary to wrap a ground wire under the nut when fastening the transformer onto the box. - Other than for grounding the transformer itself, no grounding wire should be necessary. |
Question: | How many sq. ft. will this heat |
Answer: | The jumper wires are to bypass the doorbell chime. They just connect the transformer directly to the doorbell button. Currently there is no way to use your chime with the Eufy doorbell so you have to bypass the chime and use the wireless one included with the doorbell. |

Question: | What are specs? Also, seems to be questionable quality |
Answer: | Not really, very suttle and it looks perfect for our use, just enough color, blends with everything. |
Question: | Will this replace a 24A01G |
Answer: | YES, I was pleasantly surprised to find it fully assembled. Left on my porch by delivery, I thought that's kind of a big box. Then I opened it and realized it was assembled......YES! :-) |
Question: | My two units make the heat come on but they won't turn the heat off even when I diconnect the thermostat wires. Any ideas |
Answer: | Yes, there is a 5 shelf unit that matches this. |
Question: | is this one can use for 220V |
Answer: | It’s enough space for 8x 10 pictures and still have a lil space. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What is the color of this unit, white or almond |
Answer: | Double pole 20 AMP breaker and buy a thermostat individually that mounts to either end or wall thermostat? |
Question: | What kind of thermostat is required |
Answer: | This is just a standard 1000W baseboard heater there is no efficiency about it. You need a thermostat To control this unit either a wall or unit mount. And the heater will run until it reaches the temp you want. |
Question: | This heater doesn’t seem to heat well at all |
Answer: | No, Nest thermostats don’t operate at “line” voltage(220volts). They operate at much lower voltage and cannot control resistance baseboard type heaters. I’ve been looking for such a smart “line” voltage thermostat and so far haven’t been able to find one. |
