Nordic pure’s 5" Lennox x6673_x6675 replacement merv 14 plus carbon air filters are the newest filters made by Lennox with a slightly decreased height and width, but the same ACTUAL depth of 4 3/8". this filter is a new standard size that will fit both old and new systems. As always, we ask you to measure your filter housing to ensure the proper fit. 5" Lennox x6673_x6675 replacement merv 14 plus carbon air filters are made by adding a hand cut flat panel infiltrated with activated charcoal to our standard pleated filter to greatly reduce unwanted odors. Each time air passes through a Nordic Pure pleated furnace filter, airborne dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, smog, dust mite debris, smoke, and bacteria are captured and removed. Merv 14 air filters are comparable to a mpr rating of 2800, is above the fpr rating blue, and above the apr rating diamond. Particles in indoor air are measured in microns; for scale, a human hair is about 70 microns wide. Each Nordic Pure 5" merv 14 air filter will capture more than 90% of 1.0-10.0 micron contaminants and up to 85% of .30-1.0 micron contaminants. The effective life of your air filter depends on both the inside and outside conditions in which you live. We recommend that you change your air filter every 3-6 months to maintain maximum efficiency and indoor air quality.

Nordic Pure MERV 13 Plus Carbon air filters are made of electrostatically charged synthetic materials with an added flat panel infused with activated charcoal that attracts and capture most airborne particulates in your home. It will help eliminate unwanted odors as well as trap most airborne dust and particulate matter for fresh, clean air. Odorous gases and vapors (VOC) are attracted to and held by the activated carbon material while maintaining excellent air flow properties. With each pass through the pleated furnace air filter, the air in your living environment improves. Our high efficiency activated carbon AC filter helps eliminate smoke particles, lint, household dust, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, bacteria, mold spores and other contaminants. All Nordic Pure pleated air filters are manufactured using a heavy duty, moisture resistant beverage board frame. There is a metal mesh support grid bonded to the pleats for extra support. Our Nordic Pure anti-microbial air condition filter media will not permit the growth of bacteria or mold resulting in a healthier environment. MERV 13 Plus Carbon air filters are comparable to air filters with the MPR rating of 2200-2400 or FPR rating of 10. This high-performance HVAC replacement filter will outperform non-electrostatic fiber-glass filters, washable filters, poly disposable filters, and will help keep your air conditioning and heating systems running efficiently, saving money on utilities and costly maintenance.  The effective life of your AC air filter depends on both the inside and outside conditions in which you live.  It is important to regularly change your furnace air conditioner filters especially during any home improvements for fresh, clean air in your home or office. The MERV 13 Plus Carbon air filter is a convenient pleated air conditioner furnace filter that has been impregnated with activated carbon and will help to eliminate unwanted pet and home odors as well as reduce the dust in your home or office. With each pass through the pleated filter, the air in your living environment improves. Our high efficiency activated carbon filter will absorb hold odors from smoke, pets, garbage, bathrooms, litter boxes and cooking in the millions of microscopic carbon pores. Odorous gases and vapors (VOC) are attracted to and held by the activated carbon material. The MERV 13 electrostatic filters help trap airborne particles to protect your family from pollen, household dust, mold spores, and dust mites. The Nordic Pure anti-microbial media will not permit the growth of bacteria or mold, therefore, making your breathing environment healthier. It can be installed in practically any HVAC system without modifications. The Nordic Pure anti-allergen pleated air filter has a Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value(MERV) of 13 which means that it will collect more than 90-Percent of 1.0-10.0 microns of contaminants, and up to 95-Percent of .30-1.0 microns of contaminants. Nordic Pure air filters have an actual size that is a fraction of an inch smaller than the nominal size. With the 4” and 5” air filters there is a wide variance between the nominal size and actual size. Almost ALL filters have a different actual size than the nominal size printed on the filter so it is best if you measure your filter for the EXACT size and compare it to our "Actual Size. This is why we ask you to measure your filter so you aren't surprised if the filter doesn't fit! Our MERV 13 four or five inch air filter should be changed at least every 6 months depending on your environment.
