Each J-Band has warnings sewn in the wristbands explaining safe use(the clip should never be in alignment with yes or head). |

Left handed pitchers and right fielders aren’t bad. At catcher.. would rather have a lefty throwing 10mph faster than a righty with below average arm. |

Answer: | First off consult a doctor before using this product. I have never found a workout plan from Champro. You might search skilz.com as they make a similar product and are fairly heavy on training videos for their products. YOUTUBE also has so stuff on weighted throwing. I would recommend using this product as part of your warm up for your everyday throwing. Use these when you do your "everydays" drills. You can search that as well if needed. After completing the everydays you will be standing roughly 40 feet from your partner. That's about the max distance I would use these to protect your shoulder. This will have given your arm 40 to 75 reps depending on the version of the drill you use. Afterward get your regular softball and start the drill over again. This will recalibrate your muscle memory so you don't overthrow everything afterward. |

Answer: | Should is a question for your doctor regarding your catcher. Having said that my daughter (now 13 years) is a catcher and has used these for 3 years to build and maintain arm strength in throwing. We DO NOT use them beyond 50% power so we do not stress her elbow or shoulder joints. We do a set of "every days" throwing motion progression drills us to the full throw. We do 10 to 15 reps per progression and the at the full throw we do 50 reps at approx. 20 feet distance. That equals approx 100 reps. After start the progression over with a regular ball to correct muscle overthrow. You can also do a set right before a game to "cheat" the throw down by 5 or so mph but it will only work for 10 to 15 throws before normalizing. |
