Answer:	They are not firm. They claimed medium firm but when we put our heads on them they sunk down into the pillow and the pillow wrapped around our faces. We returned them immediately. Very disappointed.

Answer:	They are shipped in a vacuum sealed bag. After the bag is opened the pillows fluff right up. So you really don’t have to fluff them unless you want to. Love these pillows.
