The adjusting knob underneath is made of aluminum, where as the other is plastic. A heavier duty adjustment that prolongs the life of even cutting. I’ve owned the regular which lasted me 7years in a restaurant with the proper maintenance and care. The super model is worth it if you working in commercial kitchens.
