My dogs didn't treat it like a chew toy & aren't interested in the box luckily!lol, maybe because it's familiar looking with the box unfolded. They don't dig up the grass either. I have two pups also so I always order two at a time, one seems fine but two gives them a few paces to sniff & then go like they normally do on a walk. There isn't much dirt either, never a mess getting it in place. Cleaning up = fold the grass & toss it in the trash. Easy! Long answer but hope that helps! |

It is not just the intelligence level of the breed, but most importantly, how he was potty trained, with love or fear and punishment? Its a important consideration. I grew up in a animal loving family in Europe where we have taking in many terribly abused dogs who were considered " dangerous" and with kindness and patience, they always became the most loving and grateful companions for life. My sweetie right now was terribly abused for 3 years, in and out of shelters and foster homes. His head was bigger then his entire body. He was so broken down mentally that his eyes were dead, he barely ate and when i picked him up his rib cage would bend. He was scared, tried to bite me at the beginning often. No one wanted him. He was not pretty. Forward 6 month, there is not a day that goes by where he doesn't make me fully laugh and a stranger begging me to take a picture with him or wanting him. He's a total sweetheart with young and old, When i see him wake up in the am, he looks around my bedroom first, then he realizes he's safe. He looks up at me, wagging his tail. Happy he's my dog and I'm overjoyed and grateful to have saved him and the opportunity to show him how good life can be. The Fresh Patch made things much easier for him and I. I hope this info helps.
