Answer:	The instruction sheet says low frequency wireless transmission. That sounds like RF, well below inonizing frequencies, so safe to use. Each time the magnet passes the sensor it emits a brief signal.

Answer:	yes - you need to remove and reinstall the battery and then VERY QUICKLY hit the set button before the mode switches to wheel circumference setting. If the mode switches before you make the change, uninstall and reinstall battery again. Not easy and not well explained in the instructions. I could not get to this setting any other way.

Answer:	I am 5'3 and 145, and I wear a medium. The length and fit are good, actually still have a little extra room on the waist and thigh. A medium would probably fit, but to be most comfortable riding (with room for long underwear this winter!) I think I would get a large.
