Question: | I am looking for a flashlight for to use in a fight or flight situation. Any thoughts on this one |

Question: | have you shot with it yet?? can it take the recoil of a 12 gage |

Answer: | The cr123 batteries are about half the size of an 18650. Not sure if it'll work though. There are rechargeable cr123's also available on Amazon. |
Question: | Can you please confirm that this is the 800 Lumen version, Nov. 16, 2018 Thanks |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is the battery life always this bad |
Answer: | Yes it will fit. It also works in the brite strike btl flashlight holder. |
Question: | Can this with stand 5.56 recoil and can i put this on my rifle |
Answer: | They are the same, who ever created the listing made a mistake, and everyone uses the same listing on amazon. it is click |
Question: | Where are they made |
Answer: | This is a powerful light producing a wide and even “wall of light”. Very good at lighting up the immediate area. I would say it is 700 lumens, but it is not a “Thrower”. I use mine for tasks of short duration, say less than 5 minutes as this light gets very hot. When looking for something in darker corners of the garage or backyard or under the hood of the car, it lights up a significant area with no hot spot . Small enough to carry in a pocket. |
Question: | Is it a tactical or a pro? This item |
Answer: | I just got this light like a week ago and it was the 800 lumen version of the light. Must have run out of the 650 lumen. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this have more throw than the previous 600 lumen version |
Answer: | Very low run life. Mine is 80 lumen led bulb bought it and the G2 in 2003 and never got over 2.5 or 3.0 hours of use. Inveat in rechargables for sure I'd suggest. There are re newer brighter led rwplacements that are brighter. But once again your dealing with battery draining sun blaster like flashlight. Use it only for combat or training, delf defense and you will save on batteries. ETC... |
Question: | will the surefire protected 18650 rechargeable batteries fit and work in this |
Answer: | Without a doubt, it will withstand 5.56. I had this light mounted to my M4 Carbine in the army and never had a problem. I have since mounted it to my 12 gauge and it can withstand that as well. You’ll love it. The only thing is, if you want to add a pressure switch, you’ll need to change the back cap or purchase one with the cap. |
Question: | Is the light natural or cool white |
Answer: | Surefire is made in America. |
Question: | Does this flashlight come with a lanyard |
Answer: | This particular one (pictured) is a Pro. I might suggest that you go to the Surefire website to see the differentiation of the various G2X models. There are: Pro, LE, Tactical, to name three. The differences are in the the order of light (lumens) output. Pro has low, then high. The LE has high, then low. The tactical has one--high. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Will this work with the ds-sr07 switch |
Answer: | Yes. You need a rail to mount it to, picatinny, Mlok, keymod, etc. Along with a mount that accommodates a 1 inch diameter light, or a 1 inch scope ring works too. Has worked great on my 870P, and 10.5 inch AR. This light has one mode(high and off), and a clicky tailcap switch, hit the button and it stays on. I would add, not suitable for a wml, on a pistol. Long guns are, gtg. |
Question: | Do you have this same offer for the FDE color |
Answer: | Pro has 2 output settings, tactical has 1. |
Question: | is this the model that attaches directly to M-lok |
Answer: | Yes. It is very easy to actuate. It is not recessed. It sticks out enough that the light can not stand up vertically on the tail cap. |
Question: | Can you use this for night hunting coyotes/varmints |
Answer: | On the 600 lumen setting the manufacturer estimates approximately 1.5 hours run time. |
- Virtually indestructible LED emitter regulated to maximize light output and runtime
- Single high output level of 600 lumens for maximum light
- Tactical tailcap switch - press for momentary-on, twist for constant-on
- Precision micro-textured reflector creates smooth, optimized beam
- High-strength aerospace aluminum body, Mil-Spec hard-anodized for extreme durability

Question: | What battery does this run on |
Answer: | Yes, however, we are currently out of stock as of 6/9/2020. |
Question: | What piccatiny mount would work with this |
Answer: | Yes, it has an M-lok attachment and a picatinny attachment. |
Question: | What is the "lumen upgrade"? the low/high spec seems the same as the less expensive 6p without the feature |
Answer: | I'd say it's bright enough and has enough of a focused projection of light in order to work. |
