Answer:	It doesn't have a swivel or pivot feature, however I just got mine and mounted it and just checking it out at home I found that you actually can pivot up and down a reasonable amount, and I was actually able to pivot it a good amount as well. Didn't measure, but probably around 20-30 degrees worth, which would translate to many moa's and a good amount of distance at range. I had a bipod with swivel and pivot features and it never really locked in like I would have liked, so I actually like the way this one feels more. First impressions are really high. So far I can't tell the difference between this one and a much more expensive 'famous maker' one I had. Will be taking it out in the next day or two and can't wait.

Answer:	It appears that it should fit your 17 her. The bipod has two opposing pins that when loosened up will slide into the sling mount stud on the rifle. Question:	Does this bipod actually pan or not
Answer:	As the description says, it pans 15 degrees. So, yes but not much. You need to be pretty much on target and the slight amount of pan will let you fine tune your aim. I will say, though, that for what I use it for, I really like this bipod. Sturdy, legs can fold either forward or back, and with no leg retaining springs, it's very low profile and just looks good.
Question:	Can the quick detach lever lock be tightened down? When the lever is all the way in it's tightest position it still has significant play
Answer:	Yes, you will have to tighten the screw with an allen wrench on the lever. You might have to play with the adjustment some to get it to your liking because I had the same issue. Once you get it where you like it i would suggest backing out the screw and count the number of rotations and re-install it with a little blue locktite to prevent it from backing out over time.

Answer:	Just under 1 1/4". 3 grooves. 4 "high spots" between grooves. I have a vertical grip behind mine with room to spare. If I didn't have the vertical grip, there would be plenty of room for my hand. I prefer the vertical grip over grabbing onto picatinny rail, which is a little hard on the hand, in my opinion. You shouldn't have any issues. I really like this bipod.

Answer:	It attaches to the front sling swivel. There is quite a bit of tolerance regarding the height of the swivel post so I would think that you should not have any difficulty attaching this to a Savage 110 tactical.

I would suggest that you put a rail fitting where your front sling swivel goes. Caldwell makes one that I installed on my Model 70 that replaces the stock swivel with a combo, and works great. Allows for more versatility.

HOW TO INSTALL

1.To secure the bipod to a QD sling stud, you will need to unscrew counter-clockwise the the mount tension screw located between the bipod legs.

2.When you unscrew the mount tension screw, the two attached claw arms can be pushed further through the rectangular brass opening in the base.

3. Spread each of the claw arms over the sling stud, so that the pin from each of claw arms goes into the sling stud opening.

4.Help hold the claw arms to the sling stud with one hand; while you begin tightening the mount tension screw clockwise with your other hand.

5.As you tighten the mount tension screw, the claw arms will draw tighter around the sling stud and begin pulling the bipod base closer to the forearm of your firearm.
