Question:	What kind of battery is needed? Is it the spring top 6v or double post

Answer:	BE sure to use a sharp pointed item to push the reset button, if that doesn't work call the cust.service number and they will probably send you a new one. they have like a five year warranty but i have had some replaced that were older than that
Question:	How weather resistant are they. I want to put one on a feeder but it will be outside of the battery motor housing but still under the feeder
Answer:	It needs to be inside the box with the battery and motor. It might be weather resistant at best, but not waterproof. But more importantly, the raccoons will chew all the wires.
Question:	Is there a wiring diagram to connect the timer to a feeder with a solar cell
Answer:	solar panel contacts to the same cable, its really simple. I had American standard feeder from buckees. The original timer went out and replaced with the timer. My solar panel is from boss buck to me is best protected from varmints.

Answer:	Not hard at all. I installed one on my old wild game feeder and it’s alot more reliable, no malfunctions in the year I have owned it.

Answer:	More like 3" x 4" x 1". Comaparable to the old Remington timers that a bunch of companies are making now.

Answer:	Sleep setting no, however the feeder only operates at the times that you set. It will then run for a pre determined amount of time. My batteries usually last all season.

Answer:	The timer is used with any standard rechargeable (or other) battery and standard feeder motor . I is a direct replacement for feeder kits that are not sealed completely with a plastic housing. If you can't figure it out go to a sporting goods store that has feeders on display and get a visual look on how they are assembled.

Answer:	These are replacement feeder motors for the feeders that have screw mounts. The arms swing out to match attachment holes . I have two types of feeders all are Moultrie the newer type have cam-lock ears for feeder motor mounts these will not work on them.

Answer:	No sir,I don't think so even though I have never tried doing that to a 6" PVC pipe the mounting arms are adjustable the 6" pipe is too small due to the curvature of the cap,but,will probably mount to an 8",10" PVC pipe without any problem.But,hey try it anyway,I've been wrong before and the motors are GREAT,but do adjust the time to about 5 or six seconds...

Answer:	It CAN throw scratch but the unit is NOT designed for scratch. Scratch is less-resistant to MOISTURE and more likely to clog and require cleaning. With heavy rains and humidity it would need to be cleaned more.

Answer:	Seems there should be two wires from your feeder with alligator clips. Connect those two wires to the timer and your timer connects to the battery. I lost my timer recently to a bear and don't remember exactly where the connections are on the timer.

Answer:	It is metal. the triangle piece is the spinner. I have 3 of these and all 3 have stopped working. I don't recommend this product.

Answer:	I own several Moultrie feeders and have not noticed them not working due to cold temps. As long as the battery is good and the corn is clean & dry, it should work.

Answer:	I mainly run cracked corn in mine so chicken scratch should work well. I hang mine around eight feet high and it probably covers a 30-40 foot diameter circle at that height.

Answer:	There are only specific kinds of feeds that can be used with this product in order not to void the warranty. However, I used the proper feed as stated in the products paperwork and it still doesnt work reliably.

Question:	Is timer controls in barrel or in timer. What battery does it take to operate
Answer:	So far its been very durable... it's light but I put a lag bolt down the center into the 4x4 pole. Otherwise it just held on by weight of feed which I didn't like... I put shark teeth on 4x4 to keep animals out and so far its worked well.. I've only had it 3 or 4 months but if it handles the Texas heat its a keeper.
