Answer:	In terms of oil stains, nothing has made it through the apron so far. One of my primary reasons to use an apron is for that very reason. I've used it daily for months and no oil has penetrated the fabric. I have washed the apron numerous times and oil, butter and all other stains have washed out perfectly. One of the things I love about this apron is no special treatment is needed to wash. It looks almost as new as when I bought it.

Answer:	Thanks for the heads up. 3 C batteries is an error in the description. We recently switched from a hand crank to a more reliable kid’s flashlight that does need 2 AA batteries that are not included.
