Answer:	The travel rod is for lighter weight lures and does not have enough backbone for surf fishing. 1.5 oz. Is the max weight I would use and the reel seat will not fit anything over a 40 size spinning reel. It is a great rod for the price and light weight applications.

Answer:	Well, I would have a lot of follow up questions for you. I guess the only way I could answer this question is to sum up what I bought it for. I wanted a rod that I could pack in my suit case. Fits perfectly; case is 25in long. I wanted a spinning rod that i would be able to fight and land fish up to about 10 lbs. I took it to Florida and caught some nice fish. It works great. I bought 2 because I have 2 kids. Pair them with a nice spinning reel. They won't come apart, medium action. Casts light tackle well. I used a saltwater popping cork and cast shrimp. I feel confident and would/will continue to use them. I will take them on every trip in the future. For me....worth the money.

Answer:	Not that I can see. The only way you could do that would be to use locks that had straight pin/rods to replace the pins used to lock the case at certain lengths because there are two.

Question:	Why is the line weight and lure weight listed for the 7.5 foot rod less than those listed for the 7 foot rod? Or is that a mistake on the listing
Answer:	I bought the 7' rod. Its great for travel and had I no trouble in Florida recently landing a 25" 8# snook saltwater game-fish. It put up a good fight, but the rod - loaded with 20# test mono on a Diawa spinning reel prevailed. The rod has made several trips to Florida and one trip the the Bahamas - it does not disappoint! The specs could be a mistake/or not, but at the end of the day much of it depends on the techniques/skill of the angler and some of it on the equipment. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It's really easy to attach the reel. There is a reel seat in the handle with a threaded collar that screws down to hold the reel securely in place. Once you have it in hand, you'll instantly see how it's done.
