Answer:	I think they meant 5 METERS or 15 feet

Answer:	I would say no. The size is accurate as stated - 3 inch by 4.75 inch when flat. Your sucker would need to be considerably smaller than this to fit inside, maybe 2 inches round maximum.

Answer:	Any tape measure will rust when exposed to water unless it has a stainless steel blade. Best practice is to always wipe the blade dry when exposed to excess moisture and do a final wipe with a dry rag which has a small amount of WD-40 sprayed on it.

Answer:	No, it does not measure in 10ths. It measures in 8ths. Also, it does not continuously measure in inches. The scale resets at 1" after each foot. So if you want to quickly see what the DBH of a tree is, this is no good. (I may have ordered the wrong model number)

Answer:	The metal tape is 7/8" wide. The picture shown on the web is of the new style. I had one of the old style that finally broke at the end of the tape due to allowing it retract (under power) too fast. I tried purchasing a 7/8" wide non-powered tape and wanted to scrap its housing and install the tape in my old unit. I was unable to get the leader to stick out far enough and in the process broke the leader. Now I had too scrap units. I bought this one thinking it would be the new style, as pictured. Nope. They sent me the old style unit. So, you might ask the seller first. I have no issues with the older design, but it is a little bulkier. Would I recommend it? Yes.

Answer:	Look on the battery compartment cover. When the cover is closed, a "+" sign on the cover should touch the positive battery terminal. You may have to slide the cover on and off a few times to make good contact.

Answer:	Auto lock means once the tape is pulled out, a lever will automatically lock the tape in place, yes you would have to push the button to get it to retract.
Question:	It states prime. Yet it takes a couple of months to send it ? That's ridiculous

Answer:	29/32" . Keep in mind that is measured from edge to edge on the concave side. If the tape was squished flat it would be wider. That said, the tape is not supposed to be flat. The arc keeps the tape from flopping all over the place. This tape measure is a great little tool.
