Answer:	I'm not sure about shark wheels... but these wheels definitely have a lot of traction… If your main focus is on street riding I wouldn't really recommend them unless it is a beginner rider and your roads are uneven otherwise it just slows down your ride.

Answer:	I like to use the Okuma 153D or the 153DLX. The "D" model is the right-hand retrieve and the DLX is the left-hand retrieve. I fill the spool with 80# Power Pro Spectra line and us P-Line or Seagar 20 to 25# fluorocarbon leader. You will get about 120 yards of braid on the spool and that should be plenty for Stripers. I like using the 80# braid because it makes tying the leader on much easier. If you want more braid, use 50# Power Pro and it will double the amount of braid you can put on your reel. If you don't need a line-counter reel, I prefer them when fishing plugs for salmon with clients in the boat, I also like to use the Abu Garcia 5500 or 6500 series reels on Stripers. Answer:	At the end of the handle nut screw will be a plastic spacer. This part needs to come off with the screw and be moved to the other side. If that part is not removed, then the hexagon shaft will not slide in place on the opposite side of the handle. Remove that plastic spacer and move it to the other side of the reel.

Answer:	I bought 2 of these 3 years ago, Amazon had a special. I use them primarily for chunking, they are still in very good shape. They are a bit stiff but very durable. After you break them in a little "memory"; they start to give a little. The reel is ,"ok at best, 1 ball bearing with mono." After awhile I switched the reel out with a Okuma b65 and threw some power pro braid on it; now it casts much further. All in all the rod is better than average the reel is just average but durable. I also tried this rod for plugging, because of the rods stiffness you get a faster action but you also get a bit of work out too. This combo is heavy. I Landed a 40lb skate with it last year at ISB state park NJ last year with no problem :) I hope this helps, tight lines.

Answer:	I agree with the other posters. A medium action 7-8 foot rod would be better for the pier. 10 foot would be a bit ackward on a pier. I have several 8 foot Okuma Tundra rods/reels that I use for freshwater, saltwater, surf and pier, and catfishing, and find them perfect for my applications.

This is difficult to accomplish with traditional spinning reels. Okuma Baitfeeding Technology is the ultimate bait fishing solution. Featuring a secondary drag system in the rear of the reel, the Baitfeeder switch completely disengages the primary drag system. With the bail of the reel closed and the line remaining well under control, the Baitfeeder switch allows line to pay out under an adjustable amount of tension. Once the fish has had time to completely eat a bait, a turn of the reel handle disengages the baitfeeder system, re-engages the primary drag system and the fish can be hooked and landed with total control.

SCT Musky rods utilize the latest technologies and advanced construction techniques to deliver ultimate strength, power and durability. The rod blanks are blends of 24- and 30-Ton carbon for exceptional responsiveness. The tip sections are fortified with Okuma UFR, or Unidirectional Fiber Reinforcement. UFR is an additional layer of unidirectional fiber that increases lifting power in the tip by 3X. Whether casting large lures or putting a hard hookset on a figure-eight fish, UFR protects against tip breakage, the most common form of rod break. SCT Musky rod blanks are also treated with Okuma Spiral Carbon Technology. SCT is a dual helix wrap of pure carbon thread over the entire length of the rod blank. Each thread contains more than 6000 individual strands of carbon. SCT maintains the round cross section of the blank under extreme load, resisting ovaling. When rod blanks are subjected to exceptional load, ovaling is when the blank is taken out of round to oval. At that point, the blank's structure loses strength and failure becomes possible. In combination with the UFR tip, Spiral Carbon Technology provides tip-to-butt durability and complete confidence.
