Answer:	It does have some silver nitrate, however the active ingredient is Silver Chloride 0.0055% (55 ppm). Keeping the wound clean with hydrogen perox, then apply to wound, and cover twice a day will heal that wound for sure. I found better results keeping the wound covered, heals faster as it closes up. It's a gel, and will not turn thick, the wound will absorb the gel. Use a Q-tip to get the gel into the wound after you clean it, then cover with sterilized bandage. you should see great results in 2-3 days. I hope that helps you.

Answer:	As near as I can tell, it is distributed by Trifecta Pharmaceuticals in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., but in looking at that website, it looks like they import most of their products from Trifecta-Pharma-Shanghai, China, That would be my guess. What I do know is that it does works.
