Please note that this model only operates on High pressure-- every other model has both High AND Low pressure settings. As mentioned, it and every pot following will have the ability to cook at either High or Low pressure settings. Sure, you can't cook beans right but you can slow cook the heck out of other things. Made chicken thighs and veggies TONIGHT in 20 minutes (5 minutes to pressurize, 5 to pressure cook, and 10 to perform a natural pressure release) without having to lift a finger. There's something to be said for that.
