Take Maxxis' Aggressor EXO/TR Tire with you on the days you show up ready to blast through technical singletrack and take on big descents. We can't promise it'll make your lines more aggressive, but its rugged construction and confident traction will make sure you don't have to hold back when you point your wheels downhill. You can run the Aggressor as a front or rear tire, seeing the softer side knobs lend stability while leaning into corners, but without excess drag slowing you down, as the center uses a harder compound rubber. It's a great tire choice for trails ranging from loose and dusty to medium-packed, making it a great option for dry summer conditions. Really, they're great for a number of trail systems, provided they're not clogged up with tons of mud after a recent rainfall.

User questions & answers
Question: | I have mavic crossmax sx wheels with a rim width of 26mm. can i run this tire on those wheels |
Answer: | No, I believe this tire will be too wide for your bike and will not have the needed clearance between the fork, chain stays and seat stays. Look at the sidewall of your current tires and check the width. It is most likely something like 2.1 or maybe 2.25. I couldn't find any specs on it checking online. |
Question: | This is price for just 1 tire |
Answer: | Folding, and it is an excellent tire! Glad I bought it. |
Question: | Internal width: 21 mm front and 19mm rear - this is my rim width, will these tries go well with such rim sizes |
Answer: | I am not sure of the width of the rims on my bike. I can tell you that I ride a base model Specialized Camber 29er and both the 2.5 front and the 2.3 rear fit perfectly. |
Question: | Can this be used on a 17mm wide rim |
Answer: | warranty is 1 year, battery is 2200 мАч |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this tire tubeless ready |
Answer: | The difference in price is probably that the more expensive has sidewall protection. These are a bit heavier but don,t seam to effect rollability. The Ikons are the choice among my mountainbiking friends because of the weight and easy roll - least friction. I go to North GA and Asheville periodically where the sidewall protection is a plus since getting a blowout barrelling down a trail would be bad. I just buy the ones with sidewall protection. Even here in Florida there are areas with sharp lime rock that it is good to have that protection. We all run these tubeless with sealant https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005PY2248/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The Maxxis website tells the difference between the different versions. There are other choices for the 2.20 size. Most of us use the Icon 2.8 for B+ bikes. |
Question: | Is this actually exo? according to maxxis.com, the 2.2 is not exo. only the 29x2.35 is exo |
Answer: | 1 tire only. |
Question: | TPI |
Answer: | 120 |
Question: | Is this tire ardent race or just ardent? the picture says ardent on the tire, but the description says ardent race |
Answer: | Yes, they are tubeless ready. I've been running them tubeless (with Stan's) for about 9 months w/ no issues. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Are the maxxis ardent skinwall sc 29x2.4 foldable |
Answer: | I bought the 27.5. I'm looking at the tire you had a question on and can't find it saying TR on it which means Tubless Ready. Mine are beening run tubeless. But they also say TR. |
Question: | does the 2.4 come in skinwall |
Answer: | Mine says "TR" stands for tubeless and I have not had any issues running tubeless on my 2005 mavic crossmax lx wheels. I have it only on the rear and find that it can be a bit loose in the corners but rolls really nice. |
Question: | It’s a single tire or two |
Answer: | The version we are selling are not the Tubeless versions. These are only the dual compound. It is not the TR versions. If there is anything else we can help you with let us know. |
Question: | Are these wire or folding bead |
Answer: | The tires come only one to a purchase |
