Answer:	Yes sir, that’s what I do. I have wading boots in my normal shoe size for when I don’t wear waders, and then when I wear these Frogg Toggs, I have a size bigger so they’ll slip over the stocking-feet and won’t have my foot in a bind. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I am your height with 48" chest and size 12 shoe. I went with XL. At 11.5 shoe size for L, you may be hard pressed to get a comfy fit for your feet. I would consider a larger size. If your feet are uncomfortable, the rest of you will be uncomfortable. Don't forget to get your wading boots in one size larger than your shoe size so the extra material of the neoprene stocking foot will fit. I have seen others who have called Caddis for advice. Answer:	I am 6'1 240lbs with size 11 shoe. I ordered my normal size xl .The stretch straps are adjustable for height. The neoprene foot had a little extra room in it but was still comfortable when using my Cabelas wader socks. Not sure about a size 13 fit with an xl as mine fit very well at size 11. I also got the caddis lug sole wadding boots. all around good fit and function.

Answer:	Chest waders are always water proof from the toe to the top. These are stocking foot waders so you will need to buy a pair of wading boots to go over the foot. I like felt soles, but these are not legal everywhere. If you get a pair with rubber soles, I recommend adding screw in cleats.
