User questions & answers

Question: is it suitabpe for 2.5 years old?normal size kids
Answer: mine didn't take that long
Question: would this fit properly on a 11-12 year old
Answer: Mine came with two thin plastic straps. I went to the hardware store & bought some heavy plastic cable ties. They worked great & won't snap or break even under the heavy use a 4 yr old can manage (stuffing her favorite bear to ride along or loads of wooden blocks, etc.) She loves that basket - it lights up with any movement or vibration & so far hasn't needed any batteries replaced. It's lasted a lot longer than the one we put on her trike 2 yrs ago - that one fell apart in a couple of months. This one is a huge improvement!
Question: Will these fit a six year old boy
Answer: yes will work with small bikes
Question: Will these fit my 2 year old boy
Answer: As long as there are regular handle bars it should work fine. If the ties don't work you can use regular zip ties it will work just as we'll. I hope this helps.

User questions & answers

Question: Why are these designated as for boys
Answer: I got a set of both boy and girl sets for my twin granddaughters . There is no difference except for color and some little fastening straps. The kids have really enjoyed them and change which has which. Buy what you want or the child wants.
Question: what age group are these for
Answer: They work well for my grandsons ages 2 & 5.
Question: year
Answer: Not sure if that's a question, but I probably would not recommend these for a 7 year old.If your child is small, s/he can use them, but probably not for too much longer. One reviewer said that they have to be under 50 pounds to use it, and that seems accurate to me.If they weight 50 pounds, that would be beyond the upper limit of use.
Question: What age are they meant for? Will they fit an 8 year old
Answer: I bought them for a 2-year old. If the 8-year old is very slender they might work.

User questions & answers

Question: Are they for adults or children
Answer: Definately children. And my boys didn't like the way they fit. I think they might be for small children (5 yrs old). With something like this you might want to go to the store to try them on. Some you have to slide on and others Velcro around your elbows and knees.
Question: My son is 4 years old, is he fit for those? Thanks
Answer: I have a 5 year old who fits this set. It depends on how big your son is. If the knee pads are still too big for him, you can always use the elbow pads on his knees until he grows into the knee pads. That's what I do for my 2 year old. Hope that helps.
Question: I am a 34 year old, 6'9" 340lb African-American male. Would these fit me
Answer: Are you serious?? And why would your race factor into in whether they would fit or not. I think just stating you are male would suffice.
Question: Will they fit a 6 year old who weighs 70 pounds
Answer: Yes. I bought 3 pairs for me (22), and two 16 year olds. They are smug but comfortable, so they will definitely fit a 6 year old.

Question: What's the wattage put out by the usb port? will it handle an ipad pro

Answer: Don't know it's a Christmas gift so still in box and already wrapped so hope it is weighted nice question thank you and sorry I can't give answer

Answer: Recommended age is 3+.

User questions & answers

Question: electrical connection needed
Answer: The electric connection powers the screen for programs and monitoring. As well as the fan, and the plug if you want to connect your phone or iPad. The cord is long and can easily slide out of the way.
Question: How long does it take to assemble
Answer: I'm capable but not overly handy and it took me about an hour, maybe a little more. The heaviest part is the base. I just tore open the end of the box and then slid it out. To lift it would have taken two strong people. None of the other parts seemed heavy to me and I did put it together by myself. There were a couple of spots where having a second pair of hands would have helped. This was a matter of the benefit of having one person hold the piece in place while the other person did the screws rather than an issue with weight. The directions are VERY clear and all the screws and washers were shrink wrapped onto a cardboard that clearly identified them, which made the process much easier and faster too. The time involved has more to do with the number of screws and washers rather than needing to do anything complicated or confusing. My impression is that Schwinn put thought into making the assembly doable.
Question: What is weight limit
Answer: Unfortunately the user manual does limit the wright to 300 pounds.
Question: what does it mean 'magnetic'? is the adjustment for resistance electronic or manual
Answer: The adjustments are automatic from the rider's point of view. Internally, in the front of the cycle, hidden beneath the plastic casing, is a large metal flywheel attached to the pedals. Surrounding the flywheel is a metal arc that holds a series of magnets. The closer this arc comes to the flywheel, the more magnetic "pull" you have to work against - and therefore, the harder you have to pedal. Internally, in a part of the cycle you never see unless it breaks (like ours did after 4 years of hard, every day use), is a steel cable that pulls the magnets away from the flywheel making it easier to pedal, or lets the magnets drop closer, making it harder. But again - from your point of view, the system is automatic. You can set a fixed resistance, or you can select a terrain with varying up and down "hills" of resistance. Even though little magnetic gnomes are busy inside the cycle doing physics, you don't have to think about them. Hope this helps.

User questions & answers

Question: I'm not familiar with Airdyne bikes, but do they not offer resistance like a recumbent bike? Are you able to go as hard as you'd like on this bike
Answer: The Airdyne does give an excellent workout! You are able to go as hard as you are able and it does get more difficult the faster you go. It gives an excellent upper body workout when you don't use the peddles. I use it daily along with the treadmill. 30 minutes on the treadmill and 25 minutes on the bike. ( 10 minutes upper body only and 15 minutes combined upper and lower bady.
Question: Is electricity required to use this bike
Answer: No, the bike is all mechanical and doesn't need to be plugged in. It has a simple display which is battery powered.
Question: The seat on my new AD6 won't stay level. Any tips
Answer: Are their replacement seats you can buy that fit this machine?
Question: Can someone tell me how far the handles are from the seat - how long do your arms have to be to use this bike
Answer: I dont have measurements for the reach relative distance of the seat to handles but I am 5'6 with a wingspan of 68.5 inches, the reach on here for me is perfect. My wife uses the machine too and she is 5 foot even, the bike fits her well also with no noted over extension of her arms at full exertion on the bike. I had a friend over the other day that is 6 foot and put him through a tabata on the bike and he felt that the reach was just fine also. User questions & answers

Question: Will these grips fit on a schwinn airdyne evolution bike
Answer: Fit my Airdyne, though mine is not an “Evolution.”
Question: or 7inches" ?? That is a big difference. My grips are 3 1/2 inches long. Those on my wife's bike are only 4 1/2.. Exactly how long are they
Answer: They are 5 3/8" long. The hole is about 3/4" in diameter and will obviously stretch to fit a 7/8" diameter handlebar. There is a medium gray soft oval pad with tiny "knurls" (crosshatches) that should face the rider. This is where you rest your palm. The gray "flap" that extends from the end of the handle is where your fingers go. Make sure the Schwinn logo faces up, too. I'm going to try the dish soap and water method to install them, after cleaning handlebar with rubbing alcohol.
Question: Will these fit on my Schwinn Chopper Bike
Answer: Don't know what the bar diameter would be on your bike. These fit my Giant with no problem - apparently pretty standard.
Question: how long are they
Answer: Hi Nancy; There 5 inches long.

User questions & answers

Question: What is the user weight capacity
Answer: 300 LBS!
Question: Does Amazon do deliver the machine inside the house
Answer: UPS guy brought it to my backdoor on a dolly
Question: I need a replacement rear roller wheel for 411 and parts have been an issue. Only 3 weeks old and can not use, do you have parts for this model yet
Answer: I guess I should feel lucky since I got 5 months out of my 411 before having major issues with the roller on the rail. Your best bet is if you can straight up order parts directly on the Schwinn website. All bets are off if you have to actually contact them. They don't respond to email, and wait times on the phone have ranged from 97 minutes to over 2 hours.
Question: We have not had very good luck with home exercise equipment. They seem to break. Does anybody have info regarding durability
Answer: I too was skeptical but am glad I made the purchase. the 411 elliptical is as durable as any health club unit that cost 4 or 5 times more. I've been using mine for nearly 6 months (twice a day) and am extremely satisfied. All connections have remained secure. operation is smooth and quiet and the unit is very stable. a small amount of silicone (that come with the unit) added to the roller frames keeps it properly lubricate
