Answer:	Yes, the paper peels off very easily. Additionally, the adhesive is aggressive but also peels off easily. I use it for holding parts together and holding parts to fixtures. It should be ideal for your application.

Answer:	What I received was a foam type material fairly thick maybe 1/16-3/32 with 'sticky' on both sides covered with a paper like material. It certainly was not cellophane like. Much thicker. Personally I did not find the tape very sticky at all. I was routing a piece and I actually pushed the template right off the raw material this tape was holding it to as I was routing. Kinda scary.
