Answer: Models change all the time. I really like this hat from Columbia. I bought 3 different types from 3 companies to compare and have backups available and the Columbia was by far my favorite. Yes, the clip is useful in big winds but I wouldn't consider it a showstopper if the model you want doesn't have it. I don't think my Columbia has a clip, rather it has a toggle with elastic which I rely on to keep it tight to my head in big winds and it works well. Very light weight hat, excellent protection, never too hot, dries quickly - my private cloud for my fair skin and sensitive eyes.

Question: How tall is the crown?Im looking for a taller crown like a trucker hat
Answer: There should be a size chart for you to view in the description or close to it.

Answer: I would recommend the 9-18 month size. The hat is slightly fitted and made of cotton so it doesn't stretch much. The tie underneath keeps the hat tight and secure.
Question: Wear a size 7 5/8 fitted cap. Would this fit? Not all snap backs fit me my large head well lol
Answer: These hats have a draw string in the back to make it bigger or smaller. I believe I bought the 0-6 month size for my baby. He was 2.5 months and is now a little over 5 months. I haven't had to adjust it very much and he still has room to grow. They have a 9-18 month old size that I would imagine your 13 month old would be able to wear for quite awhile. I love this hat and plan to get him a bigger one once he grows out of this one. It's the only hat I use unfortunately for the other hats I have for him.
Question: Are the snap back the flex fit 110 style or are they non flex fit
Answer: I did the same and contacted iPlay. This was their response: "The UPF coating on your Swim Hat should not be negatively affected after one cycle in the dryer, however, we do not recommend continued drying cylces. The UPF coating is considered to be durable for the life of the garment, but will gradually start to wash out after about 30 washes. All our UV-protected sun wear is treated with the patented Rayosan technology by Clariant. They Rayosan treatment increases the SPF of fabric without changing the fabric's appearance, handle, or breathability. This specially treated fabric will offer an additional layer of sun protection for baby's sensitive skin, especailly before the age recommended for sunscreen use. Although it is a chemical process, it was tested and passed the Oeko-Tex 100 certification process; this certification ensures us that the Rayosan process does not contain harmful substances. We share the Oeko-Tex commitment to your personal safety and supporting environmentally sound processes. The coating is safe and it is intended to be washed."
