Answer:	I have found a men's medium to generally be a size large in women's tops. A man's large is usually a woman's extra large in t-shirts, sweaters and jackets. this is a compression top so I would be small, which will snug on you being a compression top. stick with a mens medium if you don't like the snug feeling of compression

Answer:	Compression shirts aren't food for that goal. UnderArmor has a line "Threadborne" which are a loose fit which would help wick sweat away and help hide your body more so than this. I'm a fairly fit guy, workout with weights 3 days a week, and cycle about 700 miles a year at > 13mph average and this shirt squeezes and shows the small bit of fat I have on my midsection. All that said, I fully agree with Icarus. Take pride in the fact that you're making an effort to change yourself for the better. That's more than most ever do.
