Answer:	well I guess if its labeled that way, its because it is not for storing food or water....Now that being said, I use mine to store MRE (Meals Ready to Eat) type food, but they are individually wrapped. I would suggest using them at your own discretion.

Question:	Does it come with shoulder straps
Answer:	I think it would be too big for a 9 year old. But everyone has different size skulls, so you never know. I just measured and my biggest portion is 22 inches. That seems kind of big to me. It is tight enough to hold water out for me. The ear area has an enlargement so it doesn't hurt ears too much. But I wear glasses underneath it too and it hurts my nose because it is so tight.
Question:	What are the dimentions of these bags
Answer:	I have yet to use a swim cap where my hair wasn't 'soaking wet' after using it....For me swim caps are only meant to keep my hair from getting in my face and flowing around. But there will always be some kind of water getting in. As far as the ears go, I noticed that these caps are cut a little big so the problem may be that your cap is to big for you. I would use ear plugs in addition to the cap. At least the cap will keep the plugs from falling out.

Answer:	It is not waterproof. I tested it. If submerged, water will get in through the zipper. However splashed water may not get in. I tested the fireproofing as well and it held up. My test paper was undamaged. I'm happy with the product. Just wish they put splash resistant instead of waterproof. Or they make a waterproof zipper.

Answer:	I went backpacking and fell crossing river, they kept contents dry but I did not use on float trip so I’m not sure about fully submersible performance. I believe I read on their specs that the bags are NOT meant to be fully submerged but will update review if I get chance to test this out .

Question:	Would it fit a pair of size 11 shoes
Answer:	Get a larger sized bag than this 3L to store your sleeping bag inside of. It depends on the size & filling of your sleeping bag. I would suggest getting a larger Osprey bag, cause you can always fold the top opening multiple times to make it tighter (as well compress the air out). If bag too small, you can stress the seams.
Question:	What is the weight of the bag
Answer:	This particular one is 3 Liter; however, you can buy different sizes. This performed very well for me on my hiking trip and will likely buy another in the future.
Question:	Can I float this behind my kayak
Answer:	These bags are absolutely NOT waterproof, only splash-proof. I back-pack and sail regularly, and wanted a small bag for wallets and an iPhone. So I tested the bag today by correctly rolling the opening tightly 4-5 times before closing, then splashing the bag as I filled a bucket, then let it sit for 5 minutes, only partly submerged as it was floating. When I opened it the test paper-towels and a glass (for weight) were soaked - the glass even had a tablespoon of water in it. I'm not sure if it was the material (seams) or the closure which was leaking, but either way the bag is NOT appropriate as a "dry bag".
Question:	Could this be used as a bear bag? I would an OP sack for smells just wondering if it would put too much pressure to be hung from the handle
Answer:	It's the size of a small/medium purse. So your wallet, keys, camera, any medications, a couple of energy bars, and a few other things would fit in this.

Question:	can the 8L Bag hold a 16in x 9in sleeping bag
Answer:	Id say yes, but i had mine for only a couple of days in my bedroom barely used and i had noticed it had snags (tiny holes) already in it. Id be wary, but i might have just gotten a defect.

Answer:	Yes, I have used my dry sack for a week long backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail. It seemed to support the weight just fine when hung.
