Answer:	It does balance charge 2s-6s provided you plug in the balance connector to the appropriate connector on charger as well as the high amperage leads(red and black usualy polarity keyed T60. You must select a balance charge from the lipo menu.

Answer:	Unfortunately not, 6S max. Off hand I'm not sure of a model that can charge 8S. I'm sure they exist but why not just go 2 4S?

Answer:	Yes. It is fully automatic. Do be sure to keep the battery in the protective pouch while charging and preferably on a non-flammable surface away from combustible materials. LiPo batteries do, on rare occasion, catch fire while charging. Be safe!

Answer:	I was having the same problem. You need to connect the balance leads to the white JST connector and you also need to plug the larger charging cable into the charger, then plug the connector on the other end of that cable into the connector on the battery pack that has the larger power wires. On mine they are red and back. The JST connector just monitors the balance points across the cells.

Answer:	Yes, as long as the battery has a balancing plug, as most I have seen have. The charge rate is 1 amp (1000ma), so it will take 2.2 hours or less depending upon how much charge is left in the battery. If battery is half discharged, it will take approximately 1.1 hours to charge completely.

Answer:	Yes, it will prevent overcharging. Mine works great. I've used it about 20 times with a 3s 4000mah zippy lipo.
