Answer:	I would rinse regularly and wash only once in a while in the upper rack just like with juicer parts or my tall 16 oz bullet blender cups (I use almost every morning) since the manufacturer says to hand wash it. The main problem is it is so tall that any machine will have problems reaching the bottom. I have the same problem with my 16 oz bullet blender cups. I have to hand rinse when done and then hand wash every few uses and then once a while machine wash. They are plastic so eventually the get hairline cracks but these should do much better. Since the heating element is on the bottom they recommend using the top rack. I have had "dishwasher safe" plastic items melt if put in the lower rack but the upper rack is safe. The heating element gets much hotter then the water and air above it.

Answer:	Yes and No...... If you use the bottle only it fits in a car cup holder nicely. It’s tall but I have never had any problems with keeping the bottle secure during regular driving or turns. However.... today I had a cloth bottle cover on it. That made the bottle too wide for the cup holder. I was unable to secure it in the cup holder at all.

Answer:	I doubt it would fizzle through the seams, but I can bet it will come shooting out the spout when you open it. Any change in pressure makes the liquid squirt out. We had a pretty good water bath on our flight last week when my daughter flipped it open at 30,000 feet. Even with barometric changes it can sometimes spit some out when opened. So, I would be very cautious with a carbonated beverage. For non-carbonated it is fantastic.

Answer:	A: We are transitioning my 1 year old off bottles. This has been great, he learned quick on how to use the straw and since it is silicone he can’t get hurt on it. Answer:	It doesn't ruin the bottle. The warning is there because hot liquids can build pressure within the bottle when it's sealed and cause it to burst. It's more of a safty hazard (as labled on the bottom of the bottle). As for the plastic, Boiling water might melt or deform the flexable portion, I don't know. As long as you leave the drink spout upright and open to vent you'd probably be fine.

Answer:	The shape of the bottle for starters. The Ashland has a lock on the straw. That way you can lock it throw it in a bag & it won't pop open. Also the straw on the Ashland is more secure on the inside and twists on the lid to secure it so it won't fall off. The Ashland also has a wider opening & a handle you can clip to a bag vs the Sheffield that is solid. I have had the Sheffield for years & dropped it so many times it finally cracked. I loved it so much I ordered the new version, the Ashlad, & love it even more!!!!

Answer:	Normal flow rate as any bottle. The opening is not so small that it trickles out. During a hard workout I can chug a full 8 oz in a few seconds. Just like drinking from a glass.

Answer:	All of these (specifically these bottles) are stainless steel. I know there are contigo plastic auto seal water bottles but I don’t think they are insulated. I have this one in the plum color and I absolutely love it. I use it everyday! Keeps my water cool and crisp!
