The sticks are a pretty strong plastic so it depends on how they're used. Normally, when my family plays, they easily keep the Styrofoam ball on the ground and there isn't much worry about breaking other things in the house. If it was younger kids using it, they might need to be more careful.

That speaks to the durability of the set -- so again, probably not recommended for outdoor use. They are having tons of fun with them inside, though!

Answer:	2.5 ft should be good if she is only 3. Also they stake into the ground so they can withstand a decent amount of wind.

Answer:	There is no separate bag specifically for the balls just the bag that is pictured which is for the entire set. Also FYI the balls have to be inflated.
