Answer:	A precisely calibrated mechanical/electronic speed sensor may be more accurate or at least more consistent if you are in an area with limited GPS access, such as in a tunnel or canyon or among buildings, also speed in very steep terrain may be under reported by GPS since horizontal measurements are more accurately reported than vertical measurements. GPS needs at least 4 satellites to accurately triangulate. For a cyclist the differences are probably not significant.

Answer:	This has a manual that allows for the coding of dozens of tire sizes. I’m sure it would work on a 20” rim. I would have to get home and look at the owners manual. I’m safely assuming you can.

Answer:	1. I was told this is a battery slightly loose problem and to add a piece of scotch tape to the back of the battery and re-install. I folded a 2" piece of tape in half to get rid of the sticky. Re-installed - It worked. NOTE: Don't forget to write your Odometer mileage down - it will reset 000 when you open the battery door 2. Also mounting the Pedrone on a stem that is angled up can cause resetting problems (was told this by the factory).

Answer:	I purchased a new bike recently and decided to buy a new Cateye Padron & head light (Kryptonite) at the same time. Mounted the extras to the handlebars and calibrated the Padron. No issues.....until....riding at night with my light on. It took me a few night rides to put 2 and 2 together, but I finally discovered the interference PROBLEM associated with the Padrone. Quite frustrating as I ride almost exclusively at night during the summer months. My FIX is putting a layer of foil tape around the light. Somehow that mitigates the interference problem and I can once again log Ride miles on the Padrone....but man, my light is ugly as sin now!

Does it show total altitude gain for current ride

Answer:

Yes, it does however let me give you some great advice - are you a road rider or a mountain biker? Because the elevation tracking cuts out when you ride under thick trees. Somewhere in the manufacture literature (it's buried) it talks about trying to stay our from underneath thick foliage as it could interrupt the GPS signal. Well, it did - big time. When comparing to my wife's VDO computer after a ride the M7 was nearly 50% off on the elevation gain. That was day one of our ride. So the next day I paid more attention to it and saw that it would stop registering whenever we hit heavily wooded areas. So I returned it. So if you're a road rider it will probably work fine however if you're a mountain biker unless you only ride in wide open areas I wouldn't buy this.

Answer:	I hate to try and guess, kind of like when you call customer support for something and they ask questions like "is it plugged in?" The only thing I can suggest is to make sure the computer is completely in the cradle with a "click." Other than that, maybe it's a short in the wire going to the sensor. Hope any of that helps.

Answer:	Hi Laura, I have it set to MPH. I have not been in a rain storm yet so I don't know about water tightness. I am so pleased with this bike computer!!

Answer:	Yes. Just stick the magnet to the flywheel. No glue or anything necessary. On my Proform 290 I was able to ziptie the sensor to where the flywheel attaches to the frame of the bike. Wheel size is 18" on mine. Finding a spot for the sensor is the trickiest bit. You may have to "MacGyver" something. The speed and distance don't really mean anything as it is a spinner but since you probably have a good feel for your resistance setting it is nice to have a few numbers to compare from one workout to the next. Took about 5 minutes to install and about the same to program.

Question:	I have a sunseeker fat tad csx recumbent trike. Can you please lookup the bike and let me know if a rear or front mount will work
Answer:	It looks like a nice set of wheels. I like the fat tires. Regarding the mounting of the computer. I would think you want to mount it on the stem where the cranks are ( pedals) The display is pretty large. You should be able to see it from the seat. Check out a site named bentrider.com. It’s a forum for recumbents and trikes. Search, computer mounts. There are several offerings that will allow you to mount almost anything. Have fun,,
Question:	Looking for odometer for a senior's walker with 6 inch wheels. Would this work? Other suggestions? Thanks
Answer:	No the wheels are too small. They have an app from under armor for your smart phone that is called MapMyRide and I believe it also is for walking, you may want to give that a try
Question:	The backlight have a on/off switch or does it stay on during 6pm-6am
Answer:	You can set the time you want the light to be on when you press the mode button. I have mine set for 8:00Pm to 6:00Am.

Question:	Will this work with zwift
Answer:	Yes, the ISC-12 included with that Padrone Digital is compatible. Most BLE sensors do not connect simultaneously to more than one device meaning that if you connect the sensor to the Zwift app it may drop out on the computer display.
Question:	Does this have and inbulit gps?? Can we upload rides to Strava? Does this have a removable battery
Answer:	It does not have inbuilt gps, it uses your phone. Yes you can upload to Strava through Bluetooth. The battery is removable, a 2032.
Question:	Can it be used on a road bike on a indoor trainer since the back wheel is moving? And if so will it give distance traveled on a trainer
Answer:	Yes it can. It will give distance because that is calculated by the wheel revolutions and the tire size.
Question:	How customizable is the display? Can it display speed, cadence, and trip time at the same time
Answer:	The Padrone Digital has a middle area display that can be customized to show either trip time, trip distance, or the time of day. When the middle area display is set to show trip time, current speed and cadence can be displayed simultaneously on the upper and lower displays respectively.
