Question:	My cross rails are 27" on center, when drilling new holes, do I drill new holes at the front or rear
Answer:	By the way you ask your question, I assume your cross rails are not adjustable. You would have to drill at the rear of the carrier, because the carrier starts to bow at the front end only a couple inches past the far front hole. Depending on the contour of your cross rail, you may only have to drill one hole per side, because the mounting holes for each bracket are 4" on center, and the distance from center to center of the mounting brackets is 24", so you are only moving C2C by 3"s. Hope this helps, I would have attached a picture, but see no option for attachments.

Answer:	It all depends on the type of roof racks you have. If there not adjustable, it would have to be 22 inches of separation from each other . Or you can also make your own adjustments on the cargo carrier box itself , to make it fit.
Question:	What does this do to gas mileage
Answer:	It does affect MPG on highway speeds. Simple physics, you have much more drag and faster you go the more it affects MPG. I drove 4,200 miles with it, mostly 70-85 MPH and my Highlander's MPG went from the usual 21-22 MPG down to 18-19 MPG. If you drive at low speeds, up to 45 MPH, there is minimal affect on MPG, I have noticed that as part of my trip was driving in Yellowstone and inside RMNP; you definitely cannot go fast in there.

Answer:	I do not know if it will fit your Jeep. I drive a 2010 Toyota RAV4 with a side opening tailgate and use this rack. As far as being able to open the tailgate when it is in place, if your lower straps have to anchor on to your bumper, or anything underneath the bumper, then you will not be able to open the tailgate while it is installed. There are no convenient attachments on my car for the lower straps, so I anchor them to the tie-down rings inside the rear compartment, then I close the door on the straps and cinch them up. I have to remove the rack to open the tailgate. This is the only rack that I have found to fit on my car, and it is fairly easy to take on and off the car. The hardest part for me is putting the rigid tire cover back on the spare, but the rack itself is easy.

Answer:	There are definitely four straps. You don't have to use all of them, but I ran all four under the top loops. One other note. I have a small car (Subaru Forester), and the bag butts up against the crossbars with very little gap. That means the straps can only be fully tightened if there's a substantial loan within the bag, pulling against the straps. To be honest, I haven't yet taken the bag on a road trip, so I can't speak to how tight the setup will be at highway speed.

Answer:	does the 2007 Odyssey have a roof rack ? the question is does the plastic part above the rear liftgate pose a problem for the Rightline Cargo bag. I recommend calling the Rightline support team for your question.
Question:	Will it fit ford explorer
Answer:	If you use the roof rack you shouldn't have any problems, I have a '12 Odyssey. I was concerned about this as well and cut the foot out of a sock and ran the straps through this to add somethings softer to rub against the vans paint and plastic. Others state that it is not hard or solid, and I agree, you do need to try and fill the cargo bag up as much as possible to help it keep its shape and the straps to work as designed. As far as weight, I had a large cooler and other items in it, and the only problem I had was lifting the full cargo bag up to be able to get the straps adjusted and onto the back of the van properly, minimum 2-3 person job.
Question:	I am moving across the country, trying to fit as much as possible in my small camry, how many suitcases of clothes could this cargo box hold
Answer:	I've done this across country. Worked great. As always I put my lightweight (sheets, pillows..etc) luggage on the roof and heavier(beach chairs, cart...etc) in the rear bag. Mine is supported with additional straps and rear door straps. You gotta just balance your weight well and not overpack the outside your car. If it's real heavy it needs to go inside the vehicle.
Question:	Will it fit Honda CRV
Answer:	We used this on a 2010 Mazda 5 without a roof-rack and it worked great. We had to criss-cross the straps in the back because our Mazda5 has two bumps along the ridge where you're supposed to hang the clips, so we had to place the clips closer together than what is shown in the example pictures. But we figured it out and it worked great on a 20-hour roundtrip drive with a pretty full load in the bag.

Answer:	This fits a 2012 Impreza Outback just fine, and you can open the back hatchback. There are slots in the bottom that allow you to move it farther forward or back on the roof as needed.

Answer:	It’s large. I fit 2 large suitcases and a bunch of boxes over the new year in this. I left it on the car for 5 days with everything inside and it rained and snowed on the bag. Nothing got wet. I wouldn’t dunk this in water. The zipper will probably leak underwater. There is a protective flap that goes over the zipper. This keeps rain and splashes from other cars from making it to the zipper.

Answer:	The Rightline Gear Sport 2 Carrier will not work on a van with sliding doors if you do not have a roof rack. The straps will interfere with the closing of the door. Question:	Are the clips included? It says they are in the first part but in the bottom details it says they're not
Answer:	They are not included, however you do not need them if you don't have a roof rack. I bought the clips, but I ended up not using them since I ran the strap through the door frame into the car and out the other end. Worked fine for my cross country trip.I do recommend the pad (or a yoga mat) underneath to prevent shifting and scratches. I used it on a 2011 Toyota Camry.
Question:	Can this be mounted on an aftermarket rack with only 2 cross bars and no rails
Answer:	You don't need any bars or rails to use this. It's not mounted but just strapped on with straps running through inside the car along the roof. Hope that helps.

Answer:	If you leave the straps straight it will make a horrible noise. So be sure to put a few twists in the straps, that cuts the wind noise.
