| Answer: | Depends what you mean by metal. Aluminum will have zero effect on the compass as it is not magnetic. Iron is magnetic and can effect the accuracy. Heep any ferrous "contains iron and us magnetic " away from the compass. Keep speakers away also. They all contain magnets. |
