Answer:	Technically the specification states the maximum load as 250 lbs. However, my wife and I exceed that by at least 100 lbs and there didn't seem to be any issues. Answer:	I own both kayaks and I would rather go with the explore to kayak, the reason is the Explorer - is self bailing has better seats that raise you out of the water in the bottom of the boat has an upturned nose to keep water from splashing you paddles are better quality. I have taken the explorer down a class 3 river the cabarrton river in Idaho with no problems. Take the skeg off if you do rivers, will just cause you problems if you dont, mainly you will loose it. Only use tue skeg in lakes or ponds.

Answer:	When I bought mine I was very surprised at how rugged it is the bow in the sides are made of the same material like a zodiac inflatable boat very thick and stout the bottom is also good material. Answer:	Yes it could. If you are just wanting to go out and play in small surf. It would be fun. It is not designed to turn and carve on waves. But catching small waves and riding the white water in would be fun.
Question:	It says it can take up to a 10 hp gas outboard engine. a 12 hp 2-stroke engine is the same weight as a 10 hp 4-stroke. can i use the 12 hp 2-stroke
Answer:	Depends what you want. I run mine open and have 1, 2 & 3 people in it without a deck zipped on. If you wish to enclose it you will need AE2021 for single rider seated in the center or AE2022 for two. This is an awesome kayak and you get many compliments if you don't already have one. Best part is laughing (inside) at all the hard-side kayaker's trying to carry all their stuff and load it all into/onto vehicles. . . . pop/pop on the valves, stuff in in the back of whatever you're driving an you're gone.
Question:	I would like to use this as a kayak. is there a way to rigg some seats to the plywood seats? perhaps stadium seats can be uses? kayaks seats? thankks
Answer:	Sometimes it helps to check your paddling technique and see if you are "leading" the water on the boat or if you can correct it and get a dryer stroke. But to waterproof a zipper, you have many choices. I still swear by chapstick. The good old generic, black and white chapstick. I have also used a block of floor wax and beeswax for our tents and they work great. There are specific marine and car products for waterproofing fabric, like 303, which you can get quick and cheap on Amazon. If you are still not getting relief, I would think about adding a small cover flap, maybe even using velcro tape so you don't have to sew. Hope that helps!
Question:	where can i find a good carrying bag to pack this up? The shitty one it came with ripped
Answer:	Yes - with the understanding that I am a lot more gentle with this kayak than with a conventional rigid version. I took it out about six times last summer to fish from and have not had a problem yet. We used the boat launches, did a few rocky island beachings and its holding up strong.

Answer:	Hello, it is easy and convenient to opereat. First, fold it into a figure-eight shape. The ratio of the two circles is 2: 1. Fold them together in half, and then fold the larger circle again 2: 1. Fold the 3 circles together and fix them with the band. Thanks for asking, hope it helps!
