Answer:	Best I can say is: when I put it on my head fully open, I turn the tightening knob 12 clicks to shrink it to my size. Just measured my head and it was about 23" or 58 cm. it tightens beyond that still another 15 clicks. My sons can tighten it down to their size as well (they're mid teens).

That is 25 lbs just for the wheels(tires,tubes,spokes,hubs,disc) The rest of the frame weighs 23.9 lbs (frame, fork, crankset, handlebars, seat post and saddle) That is a lot of bike at 49 lbs.

Answer:	Pay the extra money and get a good protec brand helmet or something of that quality even pay extra for a certified safety helmet. I returned this helmet immediately. Bad fit. Spend the $40 plus on a good helmet because your sons brain is worth the small investment. I’ve been skating for 35 years so trust me on this!
