In Jan or Feb his 6 year old sister asked if I would buy her one because he wouldn't share it with her and she further said that if the other boys in the neighborhood were out she never got a turn. I ordered one for her and she has no problem riding it inside and out. They seem to love the ripstick and have left the skateboard in the dust. You'd be surprised how good these small children in the neighborhood are on them. Or is it just me. My grandchildren all had the skut or tippee bike and then rode 2 wheel bikes at age 3 - the skut bike was great training for balance. This same family has a now 4 year old who balances on the ripstick but I haven't seen her ride it. The older two chase each other around on them. They seem to propel them by manuevering their feet, I don't ever see them push with one foot. They're all over the neighorhood - kids and ripsticks. It seems to be the thing. |
