Answer:	When I bought my Columbia shoes last year they definitely ran small. I am normally a 9 1/2 or 10 shoe size, normally in a hiking shoe, I get a 10. I needed to get a 10.5 (10 1/2). I found that with all of the hiking shoes I tried on last year from different brands. All the hikers ran small, or just off, including Merrell - normally, I get a 10 in Merrell and they fit perfectly. Not so now.
