Answer:	We’ve used in both surfaces .... keep in mind both surfaces were flat. If you are wanting to keep the wheels in good condition - I’d recommend inside or skating rink ... otherwise they will scratch up from being outdoors.

Answer:	Small size fit 10j-13j. It may be a little big. Try to wear thick socks first, children's feet grow fast, so the adjustable feature will be fit a long time.

Answer:	Personally I feel that they are great starter skates. I like the fact that the wheels aren’t “fast” in terms of mobility. They allow my child to work on her balance all while sliding/gliding her feet. Another plus is that they are super easy to put on and take off with any shoes.

Answer:	Yes! They should be worn with sneakers. My daughter is the same age and same size in shoes. The plastic is very slippery so please get a helmet and the knee and elbow pads. I still have to hold her hand. If you find some with rubber wheels get those instead. These are a bit unsafe

Answer:	I honestly don't know. Never tried that. They're definitely great on carpet for beginning skaters.

Answer:	The description says fits 6-10. I am assuming this is toddler sizes. Might want to go for something bigger.
