Answer:	It comes apart some and the gaskets come off. But I've never completely took it apart. Had to take it apart to clean the hot chocolate out of it. It does come with directions to take it apart.

Answer:	I would counter that the lid is almost too difficult to get off. The screw cap should have a textured finish. If your hands are wet, you would not be able to get the lid off. Great thermos though.
Question:	Where is it manufactured
Answer:	I bought two--a black tumbler and a silver one--and both leaked badly from the start, which caused me no shortage of problems. I ended up purchasing a Contigo Autoseal Transit mug to take with me, and it prevents spills better than anything I've owned. That said, I hate it. While the Contigo is utterly spill-proof, it's a pain to drink out of and it doesn't keep the coffee warm for anywhere near as long as the Thermos due to very thin metal with no vacuum where the top of the cup meets the lid. As a result, the metal conducts the heat right out of the coffee and into the air (or your thumb if you're not careful). The Thermos, on the other hand, while it's been a disaster for me in terms of spills, keeeps coffee warm for around 6 hours and is still my favorite tumbler to drink from. I have no idea why something with a leaky lid would retain heat so well, but it does.

Answer:	Unfortunately no, this would not be a good fit for kiteboarding or skim boarding. While the larger Synapse 170 or 200 might have enough pull in the right wind, none of the Synapses are designed to come into contact with water - if they get wet, you'll likely need to fish your kite out of the water and allow it to dry before you'll be able to fly again. Keep an eye out for our upcoming water-relaunchable kite, the Mentor, which would work for this and should be available in the next couple of weeks.

Answer:	It does seem to be all kevlar and the breaking strength is high enough that I haven't managed to break it...You could try to calculate the strength based on the cross sectional area of the rope and the tensile strength of kevlar, but I haven't done the math.

Answer:	Yes, it does come with line and wrist straps.

Answer:	We've paired this kite with 80 feet of flying line as we feel that length provides a nice balance between speed and usability for the Synapse 140. If you add longer lines, the wind window will become larger and the kite will have more distance to cover to get from one side of the window to the other (making it feel slower by contrast). The more line there is between you and your kite, the more the interplay between the wind and the lines will affect your ability to control the kite. The jump from 80' to 100' might not produce a noticeable change in how controllable your kite is, but much more than 120' or so and it may become an issue. Overall, I wouldn't say that flying this kite higher in the air is going to offer much reward. Dual line kites spend more time directly in front of you than they do overhead, so you might be better served by finding a location with smooth wind at ground level than you would with longer lines if your goal is to have a 'better' flying experience. Question:	Is it dishwasher safe
Answer:	I've had my water bottle for about a month now and no chips. I take it everywhere with me and It still looks brand new. So I would say the only way for the coloring to come off would be to drop it and or scrape it alot.

Answer:	It's better to wash by hand. The heat tends to mess with the vacuum seal--which is the whole purpose of this container.

Answer:	I’m not sure if it’s dishwasher safe- maybe? I’ve always hand washed it though. The straw doesn’t make noise when you drink out of it. I love this bottle, and use it almost every day.

Question:	Does this bottle sweat? I hate having the outside get wet from condensation so want to check on this before buying
Answer:	we did not have any carrier with our bottle. The lids have loops and some of them came with clips attached and so my kids put them in the side pocket of their backpack and clip it on to a side strap that their bags have.
Question:	Is the lid stainless steel INSIDE as well ?Or is it plastic leaking into the water like with so many other "stainless steal" bottles
Answer:	No. It will not fit. Make sure the bottle is tightly closed before putting it on the ground. I’ve forgotten to check one too many times!

Answer:	I have the wide mouth bottle and multiple lids fit it. I have hydroflask, simple modern, contigo, and iron flask lids and they all fit my balance form wide mouth bottle

Question:	How wide is the opening
Answer:	About half the size of a soda pop can opening....
Question:	Is this dishwasher safe
Answer:	I would rinse regularly and wash only once in a while in the upper rack just like with juicer parts or my tall 16 oz bullet blender cups (I use almost every morning) since the manufacturer says to hand wash it. The main problem is it is so tall that any machine will have problems reaching the bottom. I have the same problem with my 16 oz bullet blender cups. I have to hand rinse when done and then hand wash every few uses and then once a while machine wash. They are plastic so eventually the get hairline cracks but these should do much better. Since the heating element is on the bottom they recommend using the top rack. I have had "dishwasher safe" plastic items melt if put in the lower rack but the upper rack is safe. The heating element gets much hotter then the water and air above it.
Question:	Does this bottle fit in a car cup holder
Answer:	Yes and No...... If you use the bottle only it fits in a car cup holder nicely. It’s tall but I have never had any problems with keeping the bottle secure during regular driving or turns. However.... today I had a cloth bottle cover on it. That made the bottle too wide for the cup holder. I was unable to secure it in the cup holder at all.
Question:	Is it safe to cut up lemons and limes to put in water, or might the acids damage the stainless steel
Answer:	I’ve been adding lemon juice to these bottles for years. No corrosion or staining. Note that citrus reacts with aluminum, not stainless steel.

Question:	How much does this hold? 16oz? 20oz
Answer:	I drop mine a lot. That's why i started buying metal ones, they just dent instead of shattering like the plastic ones do. Mine didn't dent until the 15th or 20th drop. It was a 24oz bottle filled with ice water and I dropped it in my driveway and it just so happened to land on the edge. It still stays upright, it's just a wee bit wobbly. I bought a second one, and the top part had changed. It was now smaller. Honestly, I'm not really bothered by the change. My ice cubes still fit. I drink about a gallon of water a day, and I have owned about 50 water bottles of varying sizes and shapes. This is my favorite.

Answer:	This is 3 years old, but for anyone else who needs this - you can buy a green plastic canning funnel here on Amazon and at Walmart for just a few dollars that has a wide opening.

Answer:	I have an older thermos that I have used for work for over 30 years. I believe it was made in Tennessee. Several years ago I got a new one made in China. The products made in China are far inferior to the ones that were made in the US. I have broken the stopper a couple of times but they are relatively easy to find on eBay. The US-made Thermos bottles definitely keep drinks warmer longer.
