Answer:	I wear between XL and 1X, wide hips and close in bust size and was concerned about mine being tight across the back/shoulders and upper arms. I ordered a 2X and the jacket fits but not comfortably. Also it is cut very short. I love the softness and quality of the jacket but would order at least a 3X and I'm not sure that would be as comfortably fitting as I would like. They run very small!

I bought this because it was packable and could be thrown in a backpack when not in use. I purchased this for an Alaskan cruise since the weather can be unpredictable. I was able to layer it over a thick, long sleeve cotton shirt & a lightweight thin down jacket. It held up to a little light rain and gave me an extra layer of wind breaking during a whale excursion. I'm not sure how it would hold up in a down pour as we had wonderful weather while we were there. Only a few times did it lightly rain, and this jacket kept me dry.

I’m mainly writing this review to help others with fit, because I found some of the answers and reviews to be conflicting. I am 5’6”, 145 lbs, with athletic build. Bust maybe 36” and hips maybe 39”. This jacket fits loosely as it should. The sleeves do start to get short when I raise my arms but it’s not a big deal and my arms are kind of long anyway. I’m glad I got this size.

Question:	I’m am looking for a rain coat that doesn’t make noise when I move. My horse is scared of my current rain coat
Answer:	Know the problem. (have you tried hanging coat next to stall or tree for awhile and let it move around in the wind for a few days?) My horse didn't seem to have as much of a problem as I did with noisy coats. For this coat, it is quiet, feels a little rubbery of a texture rain runs off, would definitely keep you dry. I personally would not ride in this coat just because it does not have 2way zipper, if it did I definitely would. For all other chores, hay, stall cleaning yes its perfect. Because of horses is why I got grey/black coat. Love it.

Answer:	The jacket is packable using the left front pocket. When you unzip the pocket you'll see there is a pull for the zipper on the inside, as well as the outside.. Just stuff the jacket into the pocket from the inside, and it should all fit!

Answer:	It’s a great rain jacket for walking around in the rain a bit and a good wind breaker. But I wore it to Machu Picchu and to hike huayna picchu. In the beginning it was great. It failed towards the middle. I was soaked.
