Answer:	The feet are to keep the support upright while you mount the camera. If it didn't have feet you would have to lean it against something. There are monopods that have sharp ends to push into the ground, if you are hiking and want to push into soil but I preferred the one with feet because I might use it in other places.

Answer:	HiYes. These belong to the "Big" binoculars group used in astronomy. They compare to other makes like Orion,Celestron,Meade and expensive brands. This group can be terrestrial and astronomical . If you get the right quality pair, you might be pleased with constellation and clusters views; and even large enough galaxies. I returned mine because I couldn't get them collimated successfully, so I saw doubles everywhere. On the moon you will see colored "halos" due to optics but that will minimize if collimated correctly. I strongly suggest to read reviews about this pair , and others, and acquire background on binocular collimation to help you decide. Also note one seriously important consideration, and that is mounting and hand holding. This by itself can dictate your choice. Good luck

Question:	Is the quick release plate interchangeable with a manfrotto
Answer:	The Coman plate is NOT compatible with Manfrotto 2" slide clamps, such as the one on the Manfrotto 562B-1. The Coman is a 1 and 13/16th" slide clamp, so it's 3/16" too narrow to use with my Manfrotto clamps. Even when the clamps are fully tightened, the space is still 1/8" too wide, so the plate will slide right off. I'll post pictures with my review.

Answer:	I would say "No" based on just looking at it. There is a pointed tip that goes out beyond the threads so I cannot imagine the base being able to thread onto this foot because the rubber movable tip does not come off-it just adjusts for dirt or concrete.

Answer:	No its not possible to hold on to the grip and place ur camera at the other end. It doesnt have the functionality to do so. This is not one of those monopods that you can take selfies with. And when you mean it can get wet and will not hinder its functions? Then yes

Answer:	Completely collapsed, the monopod is 21 3/8" long (54.3 cm). When packed in the included case, it's 22" (55.9 cm).

Answer:	The answer is, not easily. The screw isnt threaded all the way. It is push in fitting into the pole. Also the spike is part of the screw. You can rip it out, tap the plastic end cap to accept the 3/8 male to 1/4 female adaptor that come with it and then thread on your tripod foot. It will be extra work and you need threading tools but for $18 you may still come out well ahead. You might also be able to buy a 1/4 stud with the same type push in fitting. I have pictures but no way to post it here.

Answer:	I don’t have a go pro, but is very versatile it was a good purchase.

Answer:	Yes, I just used it as a walking stick on my recent trip to Hawaii. You need to make sure the screws are tightening firm enough that the clips hold each section firmly. Ultimately you don’t want to put a lot of weight on this... it can only handle the weight the manufacturer designed and specified on the product page.
Question:	How much does it weigh
Answer:	Not sure but it's not heavy and not bulky - I just stick it on the side of my backpack. And I really like the quality.

Question:	will this work with cannon powershot SX
Answer:	I think it will work with any camera that can accept a tripod. I had a PanasonicZ35 and it worked perfectly on it and it's basically a point and shoot like yourSX260. Check the bottom of your camera and it you see a hole with grooves for a tripod then this will work. You can't turn or tilt the camera without a ball head and that's more money. I would get a good lightweight tripod for the same money you'll spend. I only got the Dolica because it's light and simple to use in the woods and you use the height adjustments on the legs to change your viewing height. I brace it with my feet or plant it a little in the soil or sand to steady it.
Question:	can I use it with a go pro
Answer:	Yes you can mount a go pro. That said it only can be used to steady the Pro or as an extention. It's not on of those sticks that you hold out away from your self and do a video selfie while skiing down a hill. It will not flex or angle in any way. I hope this helps. Good at what it does and takes lots of abuse. Had this over two years now. Still works great.
Question:	Can a three feet/ base support be installed
Answer:	No. It has a single rubber foot that can be screwed back to reveal a small ground spike.
Question:	Does the monopod's foot have a threaded mount? That is, can the rubber foot be "un-screwed"? and, in principle, interchanged with a different, larger foot
Answer:	I don't think there is a way to do that based on attempting to do it on mine. The rubber foot screws down to the bottom of the threaded bolt, and is held on by a flange that is part of the bolt. I don't see any way to get the foot past that. Hope this helps.
