The Tidy Cat Breeze pads are far superior with odor control. I never smelled urine when using the Tidy Cat pads - ever! I couldn't get through 2-3 days without smelling urine with the Amazon Basic pads. I change the Tidy Cat pad every 10 days - I rotate the tray every 5 days so the unsoiled area of the pad is under the potty area of the tray. I never smell urine - even when I use the pad for 10 days. I do scoop the poo daily and I wash the entire box, tray and side guard once a month to keep the plastic from smelling.
