Answer:	This product works just fine. I love the product and so does my granddaughter. Some people have complained that their glasses still fog up when wearing a mask. Your mask still has to fit correctly to protect you and others. The product did not hurt my eyes either. I would recommend it.

Wiping of any kind breaks down the film that forms. This is alcohol based and rubbing just makes this product a glasses cleaning solution. The film in the solution needs to sit and bond to the lens.
