Answer:	The wires are color coded so just place red to red. You don't need four batteries. One 1000w battery pack will work. It must be a 1000w battery.
Question:	How wide does the rear triangle need to be to fit the hub? I have a narrow single-speed bike and am worried from reviews it won't fit
Answer:	Great Question! The quick answer is the rear triangle needs to be much wider than a single speed. I have installed this kit on 2 different multi-speed bikes and had to widen the triangle on each one. I don't have specific measurements to give you but you will need to cold form the triangle to fit the hub. It is not hard to do if you are handy with tools. Other questions you need to ask are... Brakes. If you have a single speed with a coaster brake, Forget it. You will need to get a caliper type break kit (and a good one at that). Second is you are going to have a multi gear rear wheel with no derailier. Adjusting the chain so it stays on is going to be difficult at best. you could swap out the multi gear freewheel for a single speed but that will open up more problems and not solve the braking problem.My quick advice to you if you want to build one of these is to find a different bike. you will probably have to modify that as well but not as drastically. These things are a blast but you want to make sure you have a safe and solid set up.I hope this helps. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Answer:	Buy the best battery that you can afford. I also recommend that you go with the Lithium battery option and buy the largest Amp Hour (ah) rating that you can afford. The higher the ah the longer the range. You can find many options on Ebay but beware and carefully read about what exactly you are buying and where it comes from. After a lot of research I purchased my 48v (52v at full capacity) 20 ah battery pack from calibike.com as well. He met all the criteria that I was looking for including... Excellent price. The price included a top quality charger. Excellent built quality including the Battery Management System (BMS). He is located in the USA. I received my battery in less than a week. If you buy from over seas / China it can take a month or more to receive your order. I spoke to Calibike extensively via email and by phone before making my purchase. The owner was very happy to answer any and all my questions and was very prompt with replying. Take note of his recommendation on what size and type of fuse to get (the fuse set up with the kit is rubbish and you will soon be replacing it).That said, Also consider and plan for how you will carry/ attach the battery pack and ESC to your bike. The bag that comes with the kit is of poor quality and does not attach very securely nor will it last very long. As you are no doubt finding out the batteries cost more than the kit itself. Protect your investment.

Answer:	I have the 26" Voilamart kit but I'm a little confused about your question. The 7 speed sprocket moves with the wheel but I can pedal backwards while the throttle is on.

Answer:	It is 1500watts right out of the box. There are 2 blue wires, they only connect to each other, and if you connect them, it reduces the power to 750w, I think I previously said 250w, but that was a mistake, it's 750. I'm not sure what you mean by 34.

Answer:	Yes it does matter which way you install it. Right way will drive forward and wrong way will drive backwards.
Question:	the pedal sensor will not fit my schwinn trike . is there another option
Answer:	Kit comes with a twist throttle which can be used independantly of the PAS. But remember, a front wheel drive can be dangerous, if the wheel torques itself loose while riding. I highly recommend a rear wheel drive and a torque arm.
Question:	Does it matter which side the tire’s power adapter is on
Answer:	I think it will be close. It really helps if your frame has the mounts else you might have to get creative.
Question:	Can I accelerate without pedaling, or is this a kit where I have to pedal in order to use the motor
Answer:	From what I understand, any 1500w 52v batteries are only good to use with any E-bike motors that are not rated higher than 1500w 52v and not lower than 500w 48v.

Answer:	I think this depends on the controller, and the one that comes with this kit doesn't support that.

Answer:	they were something cheap I Soldered nicer ones on.And if you don’t put the controller close to your battery you will have to make an extension wire.

Answer:	I switched mine out for the ones that came with the kit because they also work as a kill switch as they are connected to the controller.
Question:	Why do you say it is limited to 19.88 mph yet in another place you say you get 23 mph? how do i by pass that so i can go even faster
Answer:	there is a limiter wire, the two single wires connect together to limit power to 20 mph for local laws. But it's also a factor of your battery power. 36v/10ah (360 watts) will max out at 20 (under 15 with the limiter connected). A higher amp hour battery will have more wattage available for the motor. disconnecting the wires will allow you unlimited power until you fry the motor from an oversized battery exceeding the input design limits. The power wires are not heavy gauge so they will only handle so much current before melting. A 36v/14ah battery will peak at 504 watts...that's probably how the other guy was hitting 30-36 mph.

Answer:	Assuming these are 5 cell , 20v “max” batteries, you will be fine. These batteries are 18v nominal. 2 in series is 10cells which is the standard Lithium Ion 36v pack configuration, used on ebikes, hoverboards, etc. The other answer that says you will overload the motor by simply using your suggested battery config is utter nonsense and shows no experience having actually done this, which I in fact have.

Answer:	I have had several different wattage of these motors that we're interchangeable. To see a noticeable difference you have to upgrade the power supply and controller also. The motor most likely will bolt up to the bracket though.

Answer:	I would but a 52volt battery like i did and fit it in the triangle of your bike frame for better weight distribution. It gives you more power and speed!! And lasts longer!!!- more fun. That way all your weight is not on the rear!! You still have to pedal a little going up hills but with the pedal assist you never break a sweat!! I can go about 25 miles full throttle at 43miles per hour - top speed on a flat!!!- no wind!! If you average 10 miles per hour with no wind against you you could travel about 55miles!!! The more you pedal the more miles you will get on a charge.
Question:	Will this work with a 48v, 15AH Battery
Answer:	yes, what matters is the voltage. Typically you can get away with up to a 52V system as well. (mine is setup this way)

Answer:	I'm using a 622x38 tire with this wheel and it works well. I think a 622x19 tire will probably install on the rim ok, but most experts say wider is better at this power level.

A motors top rpm is determined by the voltage, and since the nominal rating of the motor is 48v that means you can expect to get around 11.66 rotations per minute per volt. In general 48v controllers have capacitors in them that can handle up to 60v, so the highest voltage battery you can safely use is a 52v. A 52v battery charged to 100% will output 58.8v, and 58.8 x 11.66 = 685rpm. Next you should take the diameter of your wheel and multiply it by pi. As an example if our tire has a diameter of 28inches you would take 28 x 3.14 = 87.92in. Then convert inches to miles. This gives us about 0.0014miles per rpm. Multiply this by the rpm at 58.8v to get 0.0014 x 685 = 0.959 miles per minute. Finally multiply this by 60 to get miles per hour. 0.959 x 60 = 57.54mph. Now this speed is the top speed at zero load, so you won't ever actually achieve this speed. The real speed the bike will go is going to depend on how aerodynamic you are. A mountain bike with fat tires and a large rider won't get anywhere near this speed, but a road bike with a skinny rider who is leaning far forward with skinny tires will likely get over 50mph. So just to reiterate the speed you get on the bike is going to vary greatly depending on how aerodynamic you are when riding and how many bolts you supply to the motor. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes . I have used similar set up and worked fine . This motor can also be overvolted but that will lower its total lifespan.

Answer:	Assuming you intend to put them all in series to make a 72v nominal bank, the total of 6 batteries at 7ah is 7 amp hours. So if this controller realisticly pulls 50 amps as rated, 7 divided by 50 is 0.14. 0.14 times 60 minutes in an hour means about 8.5 minutes run time at full throttle till bank depletion. Of course, if you are using half throttle at half the amp draw, you get twice the time. See?

Answer:	Hello Jeremy, the Voilamart 26" has a "direct-drive" motor so the motor turns at the same rpm as the wheel. There are no gears in this wheel to reduce a high rpm motor down to the rpm of the wheel. The "direct-drive" hub is quieter, more efficient, and there are no gears to wear out. the trade-off is that the direct-drive hub is a bit larger and heavier than the gear reduction type hub.

Answer:	Depends on the bike. I needed to make spacers for the axle and the rear brake caliper, if I'd known ahead of time I would have had them and it would take me maybe an hour to install.
Question:	Can i use dewalt flexvolt batteries with this kit
Answer:	Technically you could if you but enough in series (with a min voltage of 48v, max 60v; note higher voltage may burn out the hall sensor quicker and cause the motor to run hotter. I personally am running it on a 52v 20ah 18650 battery build. The kit however uses the XT-60 connection. You'd need to build an adapter to fit the unit.
