Answer:	I have the 'V' facing forward on the top. To me, as the tire roles forward, the narrow part of the 'V' hits the water, etc., first, pushing the water out to the side as the 'V' get wider. Both my cars have similar 'V' pattern and they were mounted that way by the tire shop(s). So either everything I ride/drive is either 100% wrong or 100% right. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The Aggressor is a great dry conditions tire, sand, rocks, loose over hardpack and everything in between. When the Aggressor gets wet it does really well on rocks and roots until it gets muddy. The Maxxis High Roller II is a better mud conditions tire, it sheds mud where the Aggressor packs up with mud. This is a great trail or for enduro tire, it may be too heavy for cross country racing. The Aggressor rolls faster than the High Roller II and the Minion DHF but not as fast as an Ardent.

The Maxxis Aggressor is a dual rubber compound tire and the MaxxGrip/MaxxTerra seem to be exclusively triple compound tires. On the Maxxis Website the Aggressor does not appear to be offered in MaxxGrip/MaxxTerra. The Agressor I have mounted on my bike says it’s a dual compound tire.
