Answer:	I can't speak to the actual composition of the product but my purchase was used to connect a dog runner installed on the grass. It has been outdoors (rain/shine in ohio) since January 2020 and is in great shape as of September 2020. Seems rust resilient to me. Hinges are not locking up and springs have good bounce to this day.

Answer:	These seem very strong. I didn't see a rating, but should easily hold 100 lbs. Your stake should pull out of the ground before these fail. DO NOT use these to support a person or to suspend something that could harm a person!

Answer:	I use these to hang a hammock on my balcony with rectangular bars that are around 3/4" – 1" and the clasp does not close. There is not enough room in the curve to allow it to swing shut. You definitely will not get closure of the clasp with a 1 3/4" rectangular bar. I would shoot for a more traditional shape.

Answer:	ADDENDUM: Go with Gabriel's answer since he obviously has the EXACT measurements. I didn't think it was that long (from memory) but I trust his answer.The Size 5 is definitely larger than 1 x 1 x 1 inches. I don't have one with me so can't measure exactly but the correct length dimension for the Size 5 is about 3" and the width about 1.5".

Answer:	These come in various sizes and are made in both metal (hardened stainless steel) and plastic.The smallest sre less than an inch long and rated at about 4 pounds The largest (#4) are about 1.5 x 3 inches and are rated at 75 lbs (33KG)The plastic ones are not very strong, the metal ones are extremely strong for their size.They are mad of a hardened alloy so tough that in an emergency use as a pry bar the metal snapped before it bent.That said, these are not meant to be used for climbing or rigging.I have used a chain of these to hold keys and small tools for ten yearsThey held up very well for my usesThe locking variety is new. Answer:	I purchased a pair of the #1 at big box hardware store, not being sure it was the right size I also bought the #3 because that's what they had. I now know that the #1 will accept door and lock keys but will not work with modern car keys that are FOBs. The #3 will accept the FOBs but is larger than I want as my objective is reducing size & weight of my keys. I am here to purchase #2 which was not offered at the store. Question:	Is the iron carabiner d shape buckle pack of good quality
Answer:	Really nice quality Iron Carabiner D Shape Buckle. I'm using them for a paracord lanyard, and it's beneficial that they don't have a pin and/or gate in the arm. These are just smooth finished, and fit pretty good. The biners themselves look nice, and include a ring for each one. The vendor even tossed in a lanyard as a freebie, which was an unexpected and nice touch.
Question:	Can I use the carabiner in other places
Answer:	I use the Carabiner D Shape Buckle in the kitchen, some tools that I like to hang on hooks have holes that are too small to allow them hang flat, but with a carabiner attached they do fine. Too easy to lose one of a set of beater attachments for my hand mixer in the kitchen tool drawer, but not if I hook them together first :). I carry one attached to the basket on my garden tractor where I can hang an extra dust mask, my foldable cane, or a bag for gathering produce from the garden. These are small carabiners. I like to keep larger ones on hand too. I won't be climbing mountains with them so this version is fine for my needs, sturdy and well made.

Answer:	I’m not sure if it would break (they’re made of lightweight aluminum) but I would not trust one of these for a purpose like that. They’re more of a keychain, or to hang a rope or bag from something else. I gave them as party favors.

Answer:	It would work for that purpose, but it's easily clipped so someone who knows what they're doing could probably keep it Loose there are other ones with a threaded lock it might do your purpose even better but the best thing to do is to keep it with you

Answer:	The maker specifically avoids applying a weight rating. These are NOT climbing devices. With that said, they're sturdy enough that I think I could put my whole weight (190 pounds) into cinching something down using one of these.

Question:	Is the internal spring stainless steel - so it can be under water for years and still work
Answer:	Mine are outside and still work fine for 6 months, but I don't really know how they would hold up under water. Actually, underwater there is less exposure to oxygen in the air which I believe is the main cause of corrosion, so I think they would work fine underwater, but I really have no idea for how long.

Question:	can this be lock into cloth with nice grip without making a hole for it to go through first
Answer:	The gate opening for this climbing carabiner is about 0.6" (equals to 1.5 centimeter), when you twist and push the spring gate. Please be noted.
Question:	Would this be able to hold up a 110lb punching bag for extending periods of time
Answer:	Shouldn’t be a problem
Question:	I am 6'4 250 lbs. New to climbing. I was told D shape is good for rappelling
Answer:	A D shape is not ideal for rappelling, you'd want an HMS (aka pear shaped) carabiner for rapelling.
