Answer:	They are not men sized. Clearly states women's. I have a medium size and they fit. Not loose at all. They are warm sweat pants. Only thing is they have no pockets.

Answer:	I don't know about "less breathable"- I used mine in August/September to hang lock on tree stands. It was warm, but I only had in on for about 3 hours at a time. I do know that it was the best back support I've had doing that task.
