So, if you assume that the cellphone or flashlight would need to lay on the side of the sleeping bag that is on the ground than the zipper would open on your left.

Answer:	Technically yes. A standard wash may cause the internal insulating fill material to clump together during the spin cycle. This will cause the bag to be uncomfortable and loss it's ability to properly keep you warm. I've ruined sleeping bags this way years ago as a kid. My front loading washer machine was a "hand washing" setting selection with the option to turn the spin cycle off. I wash the bag twice (once with the soap reservoir about one-third full of HE Laundry Soap and a second hand wash cycle with just water to ensure the sleeping bag is properly rinsed. Use cold water on both washing cycles. Finally, let the bag drip dry on a drying line outdoors or indoors in your laundry room or garage. Make sure to turn the bag inside out after 8 to 12 hours of drying so it can finish drying properly. This washing/drying method keeps my sleeping bags from being ruined. Use a quad size washing machine at your local laundry mat to wash your sleeping bag(s) if your current washing machine is too small to handle this sleeping bag. Air dry on line at home. A tower fan pointed at the sleeping bag while it's on the drying line will help the bag dry much faster. Sleeping bag liners are a great way to help it stay clean. They are sold in cotton, satin, silk and various other materials. I find the silk bags are extremely comfortable. The sporting goods section at your local Walmart should sell cotton sleeping bag liners next to the sleeping bag section. Hope this helps you out. Answer:	No, it is not noisy if you be sure to tell it to be quiet so you can get some sleep. Oaskys are known to produce very intelligent sleeping bags, though. The small lump you might feel at the top of the bag is actually its brain. Before we go camping, we learned we have to remind them not to make noise or talk about the night sky and animal sounds while we are trying to sleep. Oh, wait. The fact that they are soft flannel-like makes a difference, too. Yes, in that respect, they are quiet.

Answer:	It appears the model (in 2019) has left and right zippers, so that any two bags will zip correctly together with tops and bottoms aligned.
Question:	Has anyone given this bag a test down in the low teens Fahrenheit. I've read mixed reviews and wanted a clear answer
Answer:	Yes I constantly camp at 10,000 feet and it gets really cold at night. With one or two zipped together they work well down to about 10° F. Any colder than than and I would suggest some extra insulation. The mixed reviews are because people have machine washed them and degraded the insulation.

Answer:	Sprays are not my favorite idea. Teton makes liners for these. They are very comfortable, add about 10 degrees of heat, and are machine washable. I cant stand filth or stank smell and enjoy/demand clean bedding and they have been amazing. My bag has seen plenty of me but still feel and smells clean. Also very important, liner or not, ALWAYS fully air out your bag after you return home. Like a full 24 hours to completely dry and vent. Same with you tent.
Question:	Hello! I am 6'5" tall and weigh 340# would this be a good bag for me
Answer:	I got this bag for my husband who is 6'5" and weighs 310# . I read him your question and he responded that it is very roomy for him and fits extremely well. After years of too-small sleepingbags fitting like a potato sack tight up to his arm-pits, he LOVES this bag. Hope that helps.

Answer:	The differences between 2018 and 2019 models of the Cosmic down 20 are this: New colors. Shell Material – last year was a 50D Polyester Ripstop, this year 20D Nylon Taffeta. Answer:	Yes, I used this sleeping bag on the first section of my Mountain to Sea Trail Hike in the Great Smokey Mountains,(April 2019). For most nights I was warm, however one night the weather changed from rain to snow and I was cold all night even with my clothes and wool socks on. It got down to about 30 degrees. I would not have slept any if the temperature had dropped lower. It's rated for 20 degrees but I would not use it again in that type of weather.

Answer:	No. They are not designed that way, the corners are too sharp and they don't come in reverse zippered pairs. However, if you are not overly large people, one bag should be big enough for both of you! These bags are big and warm and inexpensive.

Answer:	The bag is pretty large so I wouldn't recommend doing it in a home washing machine, however, a laundromat machine should be big enough. Its a pretty solid bag, too, but over washing can damage any bag. I'd recommend one washing at the end of the season unless it gets exceptionally dirty. Make sure you use a tech wash detergent - Nik Wax Down detergent works for synthetics and down.
Question:	how big is it when stuffed into its sack? if i had to take it backpacking this would be the wrong bag? i want something that is thick, for padding
Answer:	THIS IS NOT A BACKPACKING BAG!!! I bought it for backpacking, and it will never, ever work for that, unless you have lots of space to spare. I kept it to use as a two-person sleeping bag for regular trips. I carefully rolled it as small as it will go and put it in the stuff sack before measuring it for you: 1'7" tall, and 1' diameter. That's 19" tall and 12" diameter. In metric, that's about 48.25cm tall and 30.48cm diameter. If these numbers seem big, that's because they are.

Question:	Can you put this in the washer and dryer
Answer:	Technically No. A standard wash may cause the internal insulating fill material to clump together during the spin cycle. This will cause the bag to be uncomfortable and loss it's ability to properly keep you warm. I've ruined sleeping bags this way years ago as a kid. My front loading washer machine was a "hand washing" setting selection with the option to turn the spin cycle off. I wash the bag twice (once with the soap reservoir about one-third full of HE Laundry Soap and a second hand wash cycle with just water to ensure the sleeping bag is properly rinsed. Use cold water on both washing cycles. Finally, let the bag drip dry on a drying line outdoors or indoors in your laundry room or garage. Make sure to turn the bag inside out after 8 to 12 hours of drying so it can finish drying properly. This washing/drying method keeps my sleeping bags from being ruined. Use a quad size washing machine at your local laundry mat to wash your sleeping bag(s) if your current washing machine is too small to handle this sleeping bag. Air dry on a paracord line at your home. A tower fan pointed at the sleeping bag while it's on the drying line will help the bag dry much faster. Sleeping bag liners are a great way to help it stay clean. They are sold in cotton, satin, silk and various other materials. I find the silk bags are extremely comfortable. Answer:	Not! The bag I just received is flannel colored but doesn't feel like old school cotton flannel.... and it is not that. The tag on bag says 80% cotton, 100% polyester filling, and poly [thin] ripstop exterior. The flannel isn't the soft, cozy, fuzzy feel of flannel sheets. Unless those sheets were part ploy as well.
