Answer:	Nothing else is required for set up. It's generally a good idea to put a tarp under the tent and seal the seams every summer, but those are not required. They are just housekeeping things that will keep your tent in good working order for years to come. You should have no problem with bugs, as all openings zip closed to keep them out.

Answer:	Natalie, the colored layer is plastic and the shiny layer is like aluminum film. In between the layers is a crossed thread pattern. Overall it's similar to a ripstop fabric, but there is no cloth.

Answer:	This blanket is fiber reinforced mylar. With a little care it can be reused. I stapled 2 blankets together into a large "pocket" and have used it for a weather proof sleeping bag cover that has lasted for several years........Paul

Answer:	I'm just going off the top of my head but it is approximately 8" x 11" and probably about 1/2" thick when folded. It is extremely lightweight. It is perfect for backpacks, you won't even know it's there but will be glad you packed it.

Answer:	It weighs about a pound I would say, but I don't have a scale to accurately weigh it.

Answer:	Comes with a cheap cord (buy some paracord) It's one long triangular tube. So run the cord through it, then tie to trees. (no spikes aka tent pegs included or needed.)
Question:	It doesn't look like it will retain much heat if both ends are open
Answer:	No, it certainly won't. It would actually make a better sleeping bag than a tent. Fold or twist one end shut (Better yet, tie it with the para-cord you were hopefully smart enough to bring along with it.) and crawl down in it folding in or out any longitudinal excess. As a tent, again, tie that one end shut and rig some sticks to hold your other end open for ventilation. Mind you point your tent opening downhill or pull the bottom folds up (yet still leaving an opening) so as to prevent water entry.
