Answer:	The legs attach with bolts (cap screws). It comes with two bolts, one bolt bolt per leg. The legs on mine flare out just a bit from the center line of the leg and set into a grove when tightened. .

Answer:	So the stained glass shade is attached from underneath. Without a light bulb in, the shade is attached by a plastic threaded ring with a small flange which sandwiches the top of the fixture “globe” to the flared out metal fixture piece above. The globe has a hole in the center where the light bulb stem fits through. So if you can find a new globe with a hole diameter size that lets the light bulb stem fit through to screw on the plastic ring ,then yes you can do this. The angle shape of the globe may affect the ability to tighten the plastic ring. Something to think about.
