Answer:	The AA batterys is for backup only.. If u are on a situation were u can't charge the Lantern u can pop in 3 AA batterys .. Or say u don't have power and the Lantern dies in the middle of the night... instead of cranking the dynamo to charge the battery 10 min of crank at 120 rpm for a hour and half of light.. Some may find it easier to just put 3 AA batterys in for All night backup power .. And I'm not 100% sure on this but if you put 3 rechargeable AA it may give u evern more on time plus recharge AA rechargeable batterys win it's plug to change the Lantern.. 1. Open the battery compartment by turning the anti-clockwise until the notches are in-line and lift upwards remove the top. Then open the compartment lid and insert 2*1.5V Size Alkaline batteries in the correct polarity. Once the batteries have been inserted replace the lid and top. When replacing the top make sure that notches are in-line and then turn clockwise to lock into place.

2. To activate the light turn the switch to the ON position. To activate the Fan turn the switch to the required fan level(Low or High)

Question:	How many batteries per light is req'd? ..........many don't realize that many take up to 3 batts per lite until they need new batts
Answer:	No, the lights did not flicker - certainly when the batteries were new. ( I used these at Halloween starting a couple of weeks before and the lights were getting very dim by the end )

Answer:	The flame is the only part that glows. The white/candle part does not.
Question:	Do the lights give off a really white glow or are they the fake-ish yellow flame coloured ones
