It could be hard to clean, but I think it's hard to make dirty, The part that goes in the food doesn't have crevices, slots are in the side of the handle and this part don't usually gets in contact with food, as long as you clean the knife before folding it in there is no reason to get food in the handle side crevices. If you happen to get something in there you can use the utensils to clean each others slots and a normal rinse with water

If ur asking if u can use ur ceramic/ glass stove top as the surface area to cut ontop of without leaving cut marks, no i dont think that will work. However, if u take a flattened cereal box n put it between whatever ur cutting n ur ceramic/ glass stove top; this will work! That is, as long as ur not forcing all ur weight down on the blade, as ur cutting.

Answer:	If you can afford a carving jack why would you even consider buying this ??? don't get me wrong it's a good little knife for the money but it's bulky and not ergonomic at all your hand will hurt after a wile and the blades don't lock like the carving jack . Answer:	This is sad. I am 63 years old and remember when "Schrade" and "Uncle Henry" were brand names of knives you were PROUD to own and showed off to all your friends. Fortunately I do still have one old 'Uncle Henry" old enough to be of good quality. I recall sharpening a knife (Uncle Henry) for our Sgt and when he cut himself with it the doctor (took 12 stitches inside & out to sew him up) said it looked like he had been cut with a scalpel. I bet you couldn't get one of these new knives that sharp.

Answer:	To all those complaining about the blades not locking, a blade lock was developed to keep a knife from closing when it is used to stab, like a folding skinner going through thick hide at the start of a cut (which is the wrong way to start that cut, too, by the way). If you are using this tool in any way that causes the blades to close on your fingers, you don't know how to use the tool, and you're looking for a hardware fix for a training deficiency. Stop blaming the tool and fix your ignorance. Nobody is born knowing how to use a carving knife, or any other type of knife, any more than they're born knowing how to use a hammer, saw, drill, gun, stove, oven, or jackhammer, and you shouldn't expect to expertly use a tool until you've spent some time learning how to.

Answer:	I would say yes, but it is not very stable. My cat has never gotten on the top of it because it wobbles when she tries. She love the hole in the bottom, though. She is an average sized cat, so it might be a tight squeeze for a larger than average cat. It also sheds quite a bit.

Answer:	I have 6 total (different versions) and use some for edc and live in the woods, and YES it will handle light to medium use on wood,I do and will say that i do prefer the 5160 version the most for that use. With that said never broke or damaged a 420hc version in this use. To each their own.

Ive only used the 102brs and its great to take into the woods.Smaller lightweight there where a lot of complaints about the sheath which I don't get because I actually use my knives for more than show. It was great for field dressing, but I used a larger knife an a bone saw to quarter my kill. BUT I did use the 102 to remove the hide.

Answer:	Putting aside the fact that google will convert grams to ounces, the product page on Amazon gives the weight in ounces, 2.3 oz, in the description. I weighed mine and it comes in at 2.5 ounces.
