Answer:	Not sure where it’s made, but this was the best bag I took to Europe last year. It held full sizes of shampoo, cond. hairspray, brushes, etc. really glad I had it.

Answer:	They made me gatecheck this bag on a packed flight with American Airlines. It is slightly bigger than the max size for a carry on, so whether you have to gatecheck it or not is up to their discretion. Answer:	There are extenders for the top bunk that I suppose you could use to get the bottom bunk a little higher off the ground. But, then you wouldn’t be able to stack the beds. And it would likely be less sturdy since you wouldn’t have the strap and that increases support for the pair.

Now I have to pay almost $8.00 to return it. Really upsets me that they would put this as frequently purchased together when the rainfly should not be purchased separately. Answer:	Some people have mentioned using *dry* teflon lube (powder, not liquid) between the fabric and the tubing. Haven't done it myself yet but...

• It all started in 1880: Byer of Maine began as a maker of slippers and textile products. In the 1920's and 30's we continued refining our stitching operations while also branching out into metal stamping, and fortuitously enough, wooden cot production. Question:	Is there a center support bar that would be uncomfortable for your back
Answer:	Not sure of the weight. I would guess 15-20 lbs. defiantly not for backpacking. Great for car camping. I love this cot. It is comfortable and convenient. Folds out and ready to use. No bars to assemble like other cots.
Question:	Would the feet of the cot damage the floor of a tent
Answer:	I have not had trouble with that, but did as a precaution, cut some small maybe 4x4" squares of that closed cell blue foam roll like they have at Walmart for a 1/4" thick or so sleeping pad for a tent. That foam roll was too long for me being female anyway, so I didn't miss 4" off the end across it. I cut 6 of those one for each foot on the cot, and big enough for them not to slip out from under the "feet" of the cot. Don't know if that was necessary but love that tent and didn't want to take the chance. Hope this helps...
Question:	If you sit on the end of the cot will it tip it up at the head like a teeter todder? In my tent we will have three cots together with an end approach
Answer:	I use,TETON Sports Camp Cot Pad by Teton Sports, it's a little pricey, tag says Item 131, Universal Camp Pad, made in China of Polyurethane Foam, about 1 1/2 inches thick, length and width are compatible to cots dimensions, the pad has a small pocket attached for valuables and it has the straps also attached, so you can roll it up into itself also,6 bungee locks attach to cot frame to prevent any movement of pad. It was purchased through Amazon.com.I am 69, and it provides some additional comfort. However, I think price out weighs value and you could do better. Answer:	No, there is no center bar. The support is on the sides of the cot. The cot is surprisingly comfortable.

Answer:	The feet shouldn't harm the floor of a tent. They are plastic and smooth. You could always put down a blanket or similar.

Answer:	I have not tried getting on to the cot from either end. If you look at how the legs are positioned under the cot, it does seem that there would be a possibility of it tipping, however as long as you are careful I don't foresee any issues with the end approach. Just ensure that the first thing that hits the cot lands over the last set of legs and you should be fine.

Answer:	33 inches for the Redcamp.... Go Coleman you will be happier in the end. Coleman ComfortSmart Cot superior in every way. Coleman is 3" narrower, But the rails are under the mattress and can not be felt like the Redcamp model.
Question:	what’s the cloth material
Answer:	I am 6 ft, 212 lbs and it is ok for me. My feet hang off a bit but it's fine. The width is good and it seems pretty sturdy so far. I got the topper thing (sold separately) and use an additional blanket on top of that and is quite cozy! Hope this helps?
